My Dungeon My Life – Chapter 179

■ My Modest Dungeon Life Settings ②

Here’s a further compilation focusing on things that might be a bit unclear.

■ Races:

There are six main races in total.

[1: Commonfolk: A race with no particular physical characteristics. Derogatory term is “Tadabito.” Lifespan is 150 years. They have the largest population.]

[2: Elf: Have long, pointed ears and excel at hearing the flow of soul power. Many are handsome or beautiful. Lifespan is 1000 years, hence they are also called the Millennium Race. Their population is the second largest after Commonfolk.]

[3: Faun: A race with small horns. Lifespan is 150 years. It’s said they grasp the flow of soul power through their horns, strengthening Relics and OOPArts. By consuming a special Legendary called Amaltheia, they gain power equivalent to Pseudo-Deification. However, they die as a result. Their population is the third largest, after Elves.]

[4: Beastfolk: Possess beast ears and a tail, along with corresponding instincts. Lifespan is 150 years. Referred to as XX-type Beastfolk. Their population is roughly the same as Fauns.]

[5: Dwarf: A race consisting only of males. They are short and stout. Lifespan is 600 years. They are dexterous and many are merchants. Their population is the fourth largest, after Fauns.]

[6: Fairial: A race consisting only of females. Oviparous (born from eggs). The smallest of all races. They have four translucent wings. Lifespan is 1000 years, making them a Millennium Race. Their population is small.]

[7: Edda: The Supreme Race. They have purple eyes. Without exception, Edda are nobles. They always possess two Relics. Lifespan is 100 years. They worship a god called [Generous]. Their population is smaller than Dwarves but larger than Fairials.]

■ Average Lifespan:
1000 years: Elf, Fairial.
600 years: Dwarf.
150 years: Commonfolk, Faun, Beastfolk.
100 years: Edda.

■ Population:
1st: Commonfolk
2nd: Elf
3rd: Faun, Beastfolk (tied)
4th: Dwarf
5th: Edda
6th: Fairial

■ Monsters:

Broadly divided into two types.

Normal Monsters:
Monsters found in the wild.
Alexander calls them Natural Monsters.
Some are the same monsters that appear in Dungeons. Honestly, they’re a nuisance.
Perhaps because of this history, normal monsters detest Dungeons.
They particularly hate Dungeon Monsters.

Dungeon Monsters:
Monsters born within Dungeons that wander inside them.
They are vessels created in the Dungeon, implanted with pseudo-personalities.
They do not require sustenance and thus do not excrete waste.
Whether they possess emotions or not is a topic that could spark a thousand-year war, so it’s considered taboo.
All Undead are Dungeon Monsters. They exist only within Dungeons.

Monster Threat Levels:
Divided into Lower, Middle, and Upper tiers.
The main criterion is whether they possess a Relic; strength is less relevant.
Note that monsters can also use OOPArts.
The number of Relics possessed is just a guideline and not reliable, as power and effects also matter.

『Copper Rank: Does not possess a Relic』
『Silver Rank: Possesses one Relic』
『Gold Rank: Possesses two or more Relics』
『Gem Rank: Possesses four or more Relics. Can destroy a city single-handedly』
『Treasure Rank: Possesses five or more Relics. Can destroy a country single-handedly. The highest among them are called Gods』

■ Currency:

The smallest denomination is the Base Copper Coin.
Coins with low purity are called “base,” and Base Silver and Base Gold Coins also exist.

Base Copper Coin: 1 Oro (Approx. 1 Yen)
Small Copper Coin: 50 Oro (Approx. 50 Yen)
Copper Coin: 100 Oro (Approx. 100 Yen)

Base Silver Coin: 500 Oro (Approx. 500 Yen)
Silver Coin: 1000 Oro (Approx. 1000 Yen)

Base Gold Coin: 5000 Oro (Approx. 5000 Yen)
Gold Coin: 10000 Oro (Approx. 10000 Yen)

Lesser Royal Coin: 50000 Oro (Approx. 50000 Yen)
Royal Coin: 100000 Oro (Approx. 100000 Yen)

■ Time Related:

Approximately 26 hours make up one day in this world.
Devices like clocks exist to measure time.

Hydrangea has several bell towers.

The interval until the next bell rings is roughly one hour.
The bell tolls twice for the next hour, three times for the one after, increasing by one each time, stopping in the evening.

Then, it tolls just once at midnight. That marks the end of the day.
The evening bell tolls 12 times.
When that rings, it’s the time limit.

There are many calls for more precise timekeeping.
However, rural villages rely on church bells as a guide, and clocks are not widespread.
It’s a future challenge, but whether such accuracy is truly necessary is questionable.
An era or world pressed for time will likely come eventually.

■ Relics:

Fundamentally, this is a power that all living beings in this world can wield.
The term “Possession” is commonly used.

They can be used by being engraved onto what is called the “Soul Vessel,” which exists within every living being.
When a Relic is possessed, its name and effects are instantly understood through text or voice in the mind.
This is said to be because it’s engraved upon the soul.

Since monsters are living beings, they can wield Relics.
Dungeon Monsters, regardless of their origin, are living beings, so they can also wield them.

Methods of possessing Relics include: ① Being born with them, ② Using a Relic Plate, ③ Various other methods involving OOPArts, etc.

The vast majority possess Relics via method ①. Most individuals who possess Relics often become Seekers.

Generally, the overwhelming majority of people do not possess Relics.

Types of Relics:

Some Relics have activation times and cooldown periods.

[Attribute-Type Relics: Allow manipulation of the Eight Attributes: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Plant, Lightning, Light, and Dark.]
[Body-Type Relics: Include physical enhancements, martial skills, etc.]
[Exploration-Type Relics: Sensory Relics useful for exploration fall into this category.]
[Transformation-Type Relics: Relics that allow transformation into animals or monsters. Continuous transformation is necessary to get used to the new body.]
[Job-Type Relics: The profession itself is a Relic. Depending on the job, multiple Relics can be wielded.]
[Restriction Relics: Have very powerful effects. Can be wielded if conditions are met.]
[Summoning Relics: Can summon living beings or inanimate objects. Have cooldown times.]
[Space-Type Relics: Powerful Relics that interfere with space. Examples include 【Vanish】, 【Teleport】, 【Black Spot】, and 【Storage】.]
[Domain-Type Relics: Relics related to territories, barriers, Dungeons, etc. Details are unknown.]
[Pseudo-Deification Relics: Secret Relics that allow one to temporarily become like gods or similar heroes. Without exception, they share a 5-minute activation time and a 1-day cooldown.]
[Life-Type Relics: Relics useful for daily life. 【Purification】 falls into this category. Their value is not very high.]
[Other Relics: Those difficult to classify fall into this category.]

■ OOPArts:
Mediums that amplify or draw out the power of Relics, or grant Relics to compatible individuals.

Basically, anything that adapts to or is compatible with a Relic is an OOPArt.
So, by extreme logic, if something adapts to a Relic, it is an OOPArt.

However, no objects other than weapons, armor, or accessories have been found that became OOPArts.

They are mostly obtained in Dungeons.
If not compatible, they are merely weapons or accessories.

However, there is a theory that compatible OOPArts are drawn together by fate.
Some OOPArts are said to contain souls.

There are three types of adaptation:

① Increases the power or effect of a possessed Relic. ② Evolves a possessed Relic. ③ Grants a new Relic to the compatible individual.

If an OOPArt is destroyed, it ceases to be an OOPArt.
If properly repaired, it can be used as an OOPArt again, but this does not apply to those that were not very powerful as OOPArts to begin with.

■ Legendary:
Items imbued with the power of Relics. They have no usage count and are not consumed.
Anything other than weapons, armor, or accessories is called Legendary.
Some can even be repaired.

As an exception, certain items that are consumed but have exceptionally powerful effects are also called Legendary.

Example: Relic Plate.

■ Legacy:
Consumable items imbued with the power of Relics.
Anything with a limited number of uses that disappears after being used up is a Legacy.
Attribute Stones and Return Stones fall into this category.

■ Items:
Anything that can be crafted, such as Potions, is called an Item.

■ Seeker:
The common understanding is someone who explores Dungeons.
The true meaning is someone who explores the world.
Anyone who has reached adulthood (14 years old) can become one.
However, special exceptions exist.
One can become a Seeker without a Relic, but the majority possess them.

Registration fee is 42,000 Oro. Borrowing from the Guild is possible.
Re-registration after suspension or disqualification costs double.
Registration under special exceptions also incurs a higher fee.

Ranks range from Tier VI to Tier I.
70% of Seekers are Tier V.

The difference in skill, even by a single rank, is particularly drastic.

■ Seeker Guild:

For convenience, a special administrative body that handles Seeker registration and management.
The main organization is the Grand Guild.
It operates with funding received from various countries.

■ Grand Guild:
The guild that oversees all Seeker Guilds.
Its position in the world is quite unique, sometimes considered equivalent to a nation.

■ Requests:

Referred to as Request Forms.

Request content is generally classified into four types:

[Gathering]・[Subjugation]・[Exploration]・[Escort]

■ Title:
Awarded upon reaching Tier II.
Usually based on achievements and reputation.

■ Tier I Seeker:
There are currently 27 in the world.
This number is not fixed.
Tier I Seekers, without exception, belong to the Grand Guild.

■ Hired Pup:
Generally refers to individuals without Seeker qualifications hired by Seekers.
Mostly children who cannot obtain Seeker qualifications become Hired Pups.

■ Dungeon:
Exist in various locations around the world.
Reason for their occurrence is unknown. A treasure trove of resources not found on the surface.
Each floor is composed of natural and artificial structures.
The artificial structures are reconstructions of past buildings that once existed on the surface.

Broadly classified into two types:

『Innermost Area』 and 『Lowest Floor』.
『Innermost Area』: Large in scale with many floors. A Monster known as the Dungeon Lord resides in the Innermost Area. The Dungeon’s Core is also located there. Destroying it causes the Dungeon to collapse.

『Lowest Floor』: Small in scale with few floors. Neither a Dungeon Lord nor a Core exists on the Lowest Floor. However, treasure can be found there. It is connected to the Innermost Area in some way.

■Junkyard:
A place where the Dungeon’s refuse gathers.
Found in Innermost Area Dungeons, but not in Lowest Floor Dungeons.

This refuse consists of the equipment of those who died in the Dungeon—their belongings.
Since the equipment of those who died on the Lowest Floor also gathers in the Innermost Area’s Junkyard, it indicates a connection to the Innermost Area in some way.

By unspoken agreement, only children without Seeker qualifications are allowed to scavenge the Junkyard.
However, this is merely an unspoken rule; entry is not forbidden.

The larger the Dungeon, the larger the Junkyard.

■Dungeons Around Hydrangea:

West: Fire Dungeon.

South: Water Dungeon.

North: Wind Dungeon.

East: Earth Dungeon.

■Knife:
The sacrifice to pleasure in this story.

5th Sister: While descending the stairs from the third floor of the castle in Tasan Territory, she lightly stumbles, loses her balance, tumbles down, spectacularly flies through a window that happened to be open on the 3rd floor, rolls cleanly down the 2nd-floor roof below, catches the edge of her clothes on a protective stone statue, is slowly torn free as it breaks, and falls to the 1st floor. She punches another hole in the barn directly below and is currently unconscious in an indecent state amidst the straw. She wakes up late at night but goes unnoticed by anyone.

6th Sister: Sesh. At the Cidre Tavern in Hydrangea. Getting hit on relentlessly, she’s drinking while intimidating her surroundings like a thug when Agaro and her sister Arifa call out to her, and they start drinking together.

7th Sister: Abducts the 16th Sister and sneaks onto a cargo wagon in a caravan bound for Hydrangea. Later, they are attacked by a horde of Monsters and bandits but are repelled thanks to the efforts of a married Seeker couple acting as guards. She’s surprised to find one of them is pregnant. She hits it off with the pregnant woman and they chat happily.

8th Sister: Samaniya. Studying abroad in the Trade City Bluebell. Goes hunting in the nearby Forest to relieve daily stress.

12th Sister: Furious, currently conquering the Zekatoria Dungeon.

13th Sister: Zekatoria. Her Prototype Zero Fused Strongest Undead Zombie goes berserk and enters the castle. It happens to attack the 11th and 12th sisters who are passing by. Ennea appears in their moment of desperate crisis. After a fierce battle, it is subjugated. Fearing retribution, the creator herself is holed up in the deepest part, surrounded by traps. A few hours later, the battered 11th and 12th sisters break through and spank her.

14th Sister: Juicy. Hydrangea. Heading to the guild to practice archery with her older brother, Rell.

15th Sister: Kinse (Togo). Utterly exasperated by the events in Zekatoria.

16th Sister: Abducted by the 7th Sister, sneaks onto a cargo wagon in a caravan bound for Hydrangea. Later, they are attacked by a horde of Monsters and bandits but are repelled thanks to the efforts of a married Seeker couple acting as guards. She’s surprised to find one of them is pregnant. While hitting it off and chatting happily with the pregnant woman, she sees a certain future and makes an indescribable expression. Apparently, “Eternity and infinity. His Fortune is deranged.”

17th Sister: Royal Capital. Inside the fourth wife’s belly. Sleeping peacefully.
Due to give birth in 4 months.
