Bachelor’s Isekai Reincarnation – Chapter 10

Episode 10

After finishing lunch, I changed my clothes again, met up with Kallion, and then we headed to the magic practice grounds.

“Claude-sama. Do you know what the most important thing in magic is?”

“The books said that imagination is important.”

“That is correct. In practice, it would be ideal to use magic without incantations, but the current reality is that many people chant to supplement their imagination. It would be best to chant properly at first and practice repeatedly.”

“Understood.”

Kallion took one of the staves provided at the practice grounds and handed it to me.

“This staff has a function that assists in using magic. Well then, I will demonstrate, so please watch carefully.”

“Yes.”

“O Fire, pierce through. Fire Arrow.”

What Kallion unleashed was an arrow-type magic, classified as beginner-level magic.

The Fire Arrow splendidly hit the dead center of the target.

My eyes sparkled as I burned that sight into my memory.

“Well then, let’s have you try using magic.”

I recalled the sight from just moments ago, solidified my mental image, readied the staff, and chanted.

“O Fire, pierce through. Fire Arrow.”

However, the Fire Arrow I unleashed missed the target by a wide margin.

“The power is sufficient, but your accuracy is still lacking. Let’s practice repeatedly without giving up.”

“Yes. I’ll do my best.”

After that, I unleashed Fire Arrow many times, and little by little, my shots got closer to the target.

Kallion had thought the practice would be cut short quickly due to my mana, but my mana showed no signs of running out, and he ended up accompanying me in practice until dusk.

“Claude-sama, your mana is astounding. If you continue practicing at this rate, you’ll soon be able to master magic that’s viable in actual combat.”

“Thank you very much for today.”

“I’ll be training you hard again starting tomorrow, so please get plenty of rest.”

Although my physical fatigue wasn’t so bad, I was quite mentally exhausted from concentrating on practicing unfamiliar magic.

“I’m tired today. Thanks to that, I think I’ll be able to sleep soundly.”

I returned the staff to where it belonged and headed back to the mansion.

Kallion tidied up the practice grounds and then headed to the mansion to report to the Marquis.

He knocked on the door of the study, and after receiving the Marquis’s permission, entered the room.

“Wait a moment. I’ll hear what you have to say after I finish these documents. Go ahead and sit on the sofa.”

The Marquisate is quite vast, and Finel’s duties are rather demanding.
Knowing he was busy, Kallion sat on the sofa and waited for him to finish his work without complaining.

Finel quickly finished with the documents and then sat down on the sofa opposite Kallion.
