Bachelor’s Isekai Reincarnation – Chapter 17

Chapter 17

After finishing breakfast, Claude and Netzal faced each other in the garden.

“When it comes to magic, people tend to focus on the flashy Offensive Magic, but today we’ll be practicing Support Magic.”

I had also used Support Magic to enhance myself, but if you asked whether I’d practiced it thoroughly, relying on my overwhelming Stats, the answer would be NO.

“First off, Support Magic is about enhancing your own or your allies’ Stats. Support Magic used by an unskilled person can only provide a slight boost to Stats, but it’s my firm belief that Support Magic mastered by someone can even surpass Offensive Magic.”

I recalled my gaming days.

The enhancement rate of newly learned Support Magic was minimal, but compared to Support Magic raised to its maximum level, there was a world of difference.

“What should I do to master it?”

“The basics don’t change. You must visualize it strongly. Stronger. Faster. Tougher. Wiser.”

“Understood. I’ll try.”

I visualized myself moving with greater strength and activated the Support Magic.

“Mhm, mhm. That’s it. Visualize it more and more.”

I solidified the image of going further and further beyond the enhancement from Support Magic, overwriting it with Support Magic again and again.

When I felt my strength couldn’t increase any further, I next imagined moving more swiftly.

For defense, similarly, I imagined repelling any attack that came my way, becoming tougher.

I visualized myself handling any kind of spell formula with greater skill and ease, activating Support Magic.

My head felt hot from using Support Magic beyond my limits.

Is this what they call a “wisdom fever”?

“Good, good. That’s likely your limit for now. But once your body and mind get used to these current movements and you can see even further ahead, you’ll be able to enhance yourself much, much more.”

“Haha. So this is Support Magic. I feel like I can do anything right now.”

“Next, I think I’ll have you learn Teleportation Magic.”

“I’m interested, but what should I do?”

“Strongly visualize the place you want to go and imagine yourself moving there. I think you’ll only be able to jump short distances at first, but once you become proficient, you can go anywhere you can visualize. First, start by teleporting right in front of you.”

“Yes.”

I visualized the space right in front of me and strongly imagined myself jumping there.

The next moment, a sensation of floating washed over me, and my body had moved to a spot about one step forward.

Normally, it’s not something you’d succeed at so easily, but I managed it thanks to the excessive Support Magic cast on me.

“It seems you teleported successfully. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Gradually increase the distance and just keep repeating it.”

“Yes.”

And so, I repeatedly practiced teleporting, relying on Recovery Potions.
