Bachelor’s Isekai Reincarnation – Chapter 38

Chapter 38

Having returned to the mansion from the Royal Capital, Claude was studying alchemy in earnest under Netzal’s tutelage.

He was also tackling other subjects whenever he found spare moments, leading a busy life.

Currently, he was in the study with Netzal-san, discussing matters with his father.

“Thanks to Finel-dono gathering materials, teaching alchemy is proceeding smoothly.”

“Selling the finished products is also warming our coffers, so don’t worry about it.”

“The issue is that we are gradually entering a domain where materials available through normal distribution channels are insufficient. I am considering taking Claude-dono to dungeons and unexplored regions to gather materials.”

“Considering Claude’s combat capabilities, it should be possible. Very well. I approve.”

“Father. Thank you very much for your permission.”

After leaving the study, Claude and Netzal went to town to buy food supplies.

Since both of them possessed an Item Box, they bought one desired food item after another.

Having finished their shopping and returned to the mansion, the two of them used Netzal’s Teleportation Magic to warp to a dungeon.

Netzal stood out for being accompanied by a child, but he paid it no mind and stepped into the dungeon.

The monster that appeared was a frog-type monster called a Frozen Frog.

Being a Water-attribute monster and strong against fire, he unleashed an Air Cutter.

The Air Cutter hit its mark as intended, and the monster vanished, leaving behind a magic stone and dropped items.

“As expected, monsters of this level are no trouble at all. They’ll become alchemy materials, so let’s keep going.”

From this day forward, rumors began to spread of a dungeon ravager accompanied by a child, but the duo, seeking efficiency, never stopped.

As a result of traveling to various places to gather alchemy materials on his own, Claude’s alchemy skills improved by leaps and bounds.

Finel would later struggle to sell the materials not used in alchemy and the items created for practice, but that is another story.

Claude had also persuaded the head chef and begun working on improving Portable Rations.

He had never cooked properly in his previous life, but using the know-how cultivated through alchemy, he meticulously measured ingredients and succeeded in recreating the seasonings from his past life, of which he had faint memories.

Initially, there were no plans to sell them, but the head chef, convinced they would sell, consulted Finel. With funding from the Marquis’s household, a workshop and a trading company were established for mass production, leading to substantial profits.

Finel invested the profits earned through Claude-related ventures into the development of his own domain, fostering its growth and reaping further profits.

Hearing of its reputation, many people wished to immigrate.

To accommodate them, many pioneer villages would end up being established.
