Episode 157: Water Magic and Seiken Zuki
The U.S. Army Akasaka Press Center.
Albert’s eyelids fluttered open as he slept inside the Osprey.
“Here it comes.”
Albert sat up and called out to Mia, who was outside the Osprey.
“Mia, we’re moving out immediately.”
Hearing those words, Mia’s eyes widened.
“Then the ‘Black Armor’ is!?”
“Yes, it must be him.”
Mia called out to the members of “Prometheus” who were working outside the aircraft, as well as the Osprey pilots, and immediately began preparations for departure.
“Where is it located!?”
“Ten o’clock direction, about 15 kilometers ahead.”
The Osprey took off in less than a minute.
“Fufufu.”
“What’s so funny, Albert?”
Mia looked at Albert with a puzzled expression as he laughed gleefully.
“No, I’m sorry. It’s just that this is the first time I’ve felt such an enormous amount of Mana. ‘Black Armor’ is even more impressive than I expected.”
“Haven’t you fought Lords before?”
“Well, I wonder. I don’t think it’s a Monster on the same level…”
The V-22 Osprey carrying Prometheus changed the angle of its rotor axis, increased its flight speed, and headed towards its destination.
◇◇◇
A multi-purpose helicopter UH-1H took off from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Nerima Camp.
“Hey! Are you sure about this, Charlotte? The ‘Black Armor’ has appeared!?”
Michael asked, looking bewildered. The members of the English Seeker Clan “Ophanims” were all inside the helicopter.
“Yes, I can sense this Mana. It’s definitely the Black Lord that the Japanese government is after. But…”
Charlotte’s face clouded over. “What’s wrong?” Michael asked, and she opened her mouth heavily.
“This is the first time I’ve felt such a dreadful Mana. The danger level might exceed Triple A…”
“Hey, give me a break! According to the IDR (International Dungeon Research Organization), the danger level of a Lord is supposed to be Double A. Triple A is only for things like the Chimera that wiped out a large Seeker Clan in Australia!”
“I know. But I can’t believe this ominous Mana is Double A. It’s the same as a Chimera, or perhaps…”
“Anyway, we have no choice but to go!”
Michael looked out the helicopter window. The cityscape of Tokyo spread out below him, and there was a Monster on par with a Chimera here.
Just thinking about it made Michael’s stomach churn.
The strongest Seeker Clan in England flew towards the source of the abnormal Mana.

“This Mana is…”
“What’s wrong, Tennoji?”
Taizen noticed Tennoji, who was grimacing. They had come to Nerima Ward in pursuit of Hell Garm.
“I can faintly sense the Mana of the ‘Black Armor.’ It’s the same as what I felt in the Seeker’s Town.”
Taizen and Rui were surprised by those words.
“Really!? Which direction?”
When Rui asked, leaning forward, Tennoji faced forward.
“It’s the direction we’re heading now. It seems they’ve made contact with Hell Garm.”
“Then…”
“Yes, the operation was a success!”
Tennoji and the others had received a report that the operation would be cancelled due to Hell Garm’s rampage.
They were dejected, but then the “Black Armor” appeared. Rui breathed a sigh of relief, as they had at least cleared one of their objectives.
“It’s finally coming to an end.”
When Taizen said with an excited look on his face, Tennoji nodded greatly.
“Yes, we’ll probably be the first ones there. We’ll defeat the Black Armor before the foreign forces do! Rui, Taizen!!”
“Yeah!”
“Understood!”
The car carrying Tennoji and the others, who had steeled themselves, rushed to the location where the Black Armor had been sighted.

–I’ve done it.
Yuma was frozen with his right arm outstretched. He had intended to take Tanaka and escape far away, but he couldn’t help but be concerned, so he left Tanaka in a safe place and came to see what was happening.
That’s when he witnessed a parent and child being attacked.
Before he knew it, he had used “Metallization.” The president is definitely going to be angry with me later.
As Yuma was holding his head in remorse, Hell Garm, who had crashed into the wall of a building and collapsed, shook his head and got up.
“First of all, I have to defeat this guy.”
As Yuma was about to go, he heard a voice from behind saying “Ah.”
When he turned around, a little girl was looking at him with wide eyes.
“T…thank you.”
A voice that was barely audible. But Yuma heard it clearly. Since he couldn’t reply, Yuma nodded slightly and ran towards the Hell Garm.
The girl watched the back of the black monster with shining eyes, and her mother stood still in terror.
Yuma activated “Bloody Oar,” and red bloodlines ran throughout his body.
He couldn’t waste too much time.
He knew that there were Seekers everywhere. He had to defeat this guy quickly and hide.
Hell Garm had half of his face crushed and was bleeding profusely, but it was regenerating rapidly while emitting smoke.
“I’ll finish this quickly!”
Hell Garm noticed Yuma approaching and charged towards him.
He accumulated flames in his mouth and spat them out all at once the moment he got close. The scorching flames obscured his vision, but Yuma didn’t care and unleashed a right straight.
The black fist, accompanied by a crushing impact, slammed into the dog’s face.
His mouth was torn, his bones were shattered, and his head burst open from the force. But he didn’t die.
Without a moment’s delay, he crushed the dog’s ribs with a left hook. Before it could fly away, he thrust a right uppercut into its stomach.
From there, he unleashed a barrage of short punches.
The tattered dog flew dozens of meters away and rolled to the center of the road.
It was twitching, but it still spewed flames from its entire body and slowly stood up. The large wounds healed rapidly.
–The speed at which the wounds are healing is faster than before. Is it because of the Mana overflowing on the ground?
Hell Garm, whose regeneration was complete, charged again. Yuma set his right fist on his waist.
He concentrated his consciousness and converted Mana into Magical Power.
He had practiced Water Magic. But he couldn’t unleash a powerful enough spell to work on Hell Garm. If he could imbue it into his body like a Magic Enchanted Armament.
Several blue streaks ran across Yuma’s right hand.
At the same time, he activated “Bloody Oar.” He glared at Hell Garm, who was approaching.
“Ooooooh!!”
A full-force Seiken Zuki. The fist with the blue bloodlines caught the dog’s throat.
One hit kill. The Hell Garm was blown to smithereens. The flesh scattered as if it had exploded, and it turned into sand without regenerating.
