Episode 312: Emergency Situation
Leila crouched on the rooftop of a building, trembling slightly.
Many soldiers surrounded her, but she felt no sense of security. She raised her face and looked out over the city from the rooftop.
Oxford was completely submerged.
This situation would not change. Leila felt a sense of despair.
Eventually, this place too would sink into the sea. Or, would she be killed by Monsters before that? Would flying Dragons, or Fish-men and snakes attack from the sea?
Leila hugged her arms and closed her eyes, looking down.
There were only soldiers here. There were no Seekers to defeat the Monsters.
If they were attacked now, they wouldn’t stand a chance. The light of hope faded from Leila’s eyes. At that moment, a scream-like shout echoed around them.
“T-Tsunami! A tsunami is coming!!”
Leila raised her face and looked around. It was Nick, the special mayor, who was shouting.
He was staring at the south side of the city, shuddering. Leila put strength into her trembling legs and somehow stood up, looking into the distance.
A huge tsunami was approaching, as if to swallow the city that had already sunk into the sea.
“Ah… Aaaaaah.”
Leila covered her face with her hands. If that tsunami reached them, England would be completely finished.
There was nothing more they could do.
“P-Prime Minister! That thing!!”
Nick called out to Leila in a trembling voice. Even though nothing could be undone anymore, what more did he want her to see?
Leila listlessly looked in the direction Nick was pointing.
There was a giant whale riding on top of the tsunami. Leila swallowed hard and glared at the whale.
“The Blue King… He’s come to finish us off himself.”
Her whole body trembled. The absolute ruler who reigned at the top of the food chain. Before the Blue King, they were no different from frogs being stared at by a snake.
That’s what Leila thought, but something seemed wrong.
The surroundings began to stir, and Nick staggered back in a fluster. Leila looked again at the approaching tsunami.
She immediately noticed something unnatural. The tsunami had stopped moving.
“What’s going on?!”
She had no idea what the cause was, but the people around her were looking up at the sky. Leila followed suit and looked up.
There was a giant Moth. A Green Moth leisurely flapping its wings.
A Monster she had never seen before. It was quite a distance away, but she could tell it was incredibly large.
Its whole body was a poisonous color, and it had two long tails.
“What… is that?”
Leila opened her mouth and could only stare blankly. The giant Moth and the Blue King stopped moving, as if glaring at each other.
The Green Moth made the first move.
It fanned its wings repeatedly, creating a ripple of Wind. The “Wind” created in front of the Moth flew with a shockwave.
It was heading towards the Blue King on top of the tsunami.
What will happen? Leila thought, but she gasped at the next change that occurred.
The tsunami began to freeze. The tsunami, which covered the horizon, was turning white and freezing. And the sea itself began to freeze.
The submerged city was turning into a silver world.
The Blue King disappeared into the ice. The Wind that the Moth shot out attacked the Ice Tsunami, but it only destroyed a part of it, and did not hit the Blue King.
The Green Moth soared into the sky and repeated its Wind attacks from above. However, it didn’t seem to be able to break the thick ice.
–No, even if it did destroy it, the ice would immediately return to its original state. At this rate, the giant Moth’s attacks won’t reach!
Leila didn’t understand what was happening at all. But she was certain that the Blue King was dangerous.
Even if this was a clash between Monsters, she wanted the Green Moth to kill the Blue King if possible.
Leila looked at the sky, praying.
“Anything is fine! Please… defeat that monster… the Blue King!!”

Yuma looked down at the frozen sea from above.
–As I thought, with “Wind attacks” I can’t defeat that guy inside the ice! The only way is to become the Red King and use fire…
But once he undid the transformation, he wouldn’t be able to become the Green Lord again.
If the Blue King released the ice and used Water Magic next, the incompatible Fire Magic would be suppressed.
What should he do?
As Yuma desperately wracked his brains, the strength suddenly drained from his body.
The giant Moth couldn’t maintain its posture and almost fell. Yuma hurriedly used Wind Magic to support the Green Lord’s body.
–That was close! What was that just now?
The discomfort in his body that he had been feeling for a while now seemed to be getting worse.
Was he feeling unwell? Or…
Even as Yuma was thinking about that, the Blue King moved inside the ice and launched an attack.
A part of the sea bulged out, becoming an Ice Dragon and attacking.
–There’s no time to think! If I don’t do something, I’ll be done for!!
Yuma concentrated his mind and poured Magical Power into the Chimera’s Jewel. The Jewel, dyed red, was released, and Magical Power exploded.
The giant Moth began to change in the sky.
Its body surface glowed red, and the Moth’s wings turned into reptile wings. The two tails retracted, and a Dragon’s tail grew out.
The change was also seen by Leila and the others, who were watching from a distance.
“What? What is that Monster?!”
Nick, who was next to her, also seemed unable to believe the scene before his eyes, saying, “The Monster… is changing into another Monster.”
The people around them could only stand there in amazement.
Yuma, who had completely finished transforming, glared down at the ground. His whole body was covered in red scales, and ferocious fangs could be seen from his flame-leaking mouth.
–The Red King, Aulus Venom!!
The ruler of the explosive flames that would burn everything to the ground shattered the approaching Ice Dragon with just his heat. He immediately changed direction and caught the Blue King, who was trying to escape, in his sights.
–I won’t let you escape!!
Yuma gathered flames in his ferocious jaws. He raised his head and spat out a Fireball in one breath.
Cutting through the air, the Fireball landed on the ice field. In an instant–the heat ray evaporated the surrounding ice. The ice defense wall collapsed, and the Blue King exposed his bare body.
–One more shot!
He fired another Fireball. The strongest flame was heading towards the sea, but the sea began to undulate as if to meet it. Countless Water Dragons were born from the raging waves and attacked the Fireball.
The Fireball, captured by the water, gradually lost its power and disappeared in the water.
–Damn it! It’s no good after all!!
Yuma glared at the sea while flapping his wings. Even with the power of the two Kings, he couldn’t inflict fatal damage on this guy.
After all, he needed to defeat the Yellow King in America.
If he had the Lightning Strike that the Yellow King used, he would have been able to break through both Water and Ice. Should he have gone to America before coming here? Just as Yuma gritted his teeth, another change occurred in his body.
His strength was draining away. He didn’t know what was happening, but he could see his wings and tail shrinking. The Red King’s transformation was being undone.
–Why?! It shouldn’t have been thirty minutes yet!
Yuma lost buoyancy and fell towards the sea.
