Black Steel King – Chapter 331

“Just a little more! Focus your attacks!!”

The Seekers responded to Orlando’s encouragement.

“You got it!”
“Leave this to us!!”
“One last push!”

A wyvern fell screaming. Jack and Orlando’s gunfire had been effective.
Seekers with swords and spears attacked the wyvern thrashing on the ground.

“GIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!”

Its body was pierced by weapons imbued with the power of “Water” and “Lightning,” and the monster let out a death cry. After twitching spasmodically, it went limp and turned to sand.

“Not yet!!”

Jack pointed his machine gun at the four-legged Peruda.
Dozens of bullets were fired. Empty cartridges clattered to the ground, and Peruda sprayed blood and staggered backward.
But Peruda stomped its hind legs firmly.
It raised its head and spewed scorching Flames from its mouth. The target was Jack.
Jack didn’t try to dodge the approaching Flames. Instead, he pointed the “shield” attached to his machine gun forward.
The four Magic Gems embedded in it began to glow.
“Lightning” Magical Power was released, and a powerful Magical Barrier was deployed. It blocked the Flames, completely killing their momentum.

“Now!!”

The Seekers around Jack reacted to his shout. They attacked the sluggish Peruda, stabbing it with their weapons one after another.
The large Dragon swayed and fell to the ground.
Finally, it turned into a large amount of sand, which danced in the wind and disappeared.

“Only the Fire Drake is left! Focus your attacks!!”

At Orlando’s command, his comrades raised their morale with a shout of “Ooh!!” Attacks were concentrated on the only remaining Fire Drake, and it was finally killed.
Jack and Orlando high-fived, and the other Seekers congratulated each other.
As everyone smiled, something flew in from the western sky. One of the Seekers who noticed it pointed to the sky.

“H, hey! That…”

Jack and Orlando also looked up at the sky. They thought it was another Fire Drake or wyvern, but its shape was clearly different.
Orlando made a visor with his hand and narrowed his eyes to look into the distance.
With a crimson body and large wings, there was no doubt it was Dragonkind. The three Dragons glided in formation.

“It’s an Ancient Dragon! Everyone, scatter!!”

Orlando screamed. The Seekers immediately ran. The Ancient Dragon was the strongest Dragon, alongside the Gold Dragon.
Its strength was on a completely different level from wyverns.
It was difficult to defeat even one, but three were coming at them. At their level, they had no chance of winning.
Thinking so, Orlando decided to retreat without hesitation.
The problem was whether they could escape. Orlando was looking around with a bitter expression when he noticed figures coming from across the street.

“That’s…”

He immediately recognized who the figures were. It was the three Seekers who said they were from Japan.
He thought, ‘Of all times!’ but he couldn’t abandon them. Orlando shouted loudly.

“Don’t come here! You’ll be killed!!”

Thanks to his loud voice, they seemed to have noticed him. However, the three of them were walking over while waving their hands.
Unaware of the danger that was approaching.

◇◇◇

“Hey, isn’t that an Ancient Dragon?”

Akito said while looking at the distant sky, and Yuma said in a carefree voice, “It is. How nostalgic.” Rui, who was listening to the conversation, said,

“Instead of saying that, we have to go help them. I think it’s going to be tough to deal with an Ancient Dragon.”
“Yeah. Then, how about one each?”

To Akito’s suggestion, Yuma said, “Sounds good. Let’s do that,” and readied his Pickel.
Rui also said, “Honestly,” while drawing his Scorching Blade from its sheath. Akito spat on both hands and firmly gripped Gae Bolg, glaring at the sky.

“Well, let’s go!”

The three kicked off the ground at the same time. Rui was the first to move.
He ran across the ground with tremendous speed, and in an instant, he stood under the gliding Ancient Dragon.
The American Seekers didn’t notice Rui running past because he was so fast.
The Dragon, which had been storing a fire seed in its mouth, charged in.
In the instant it spewed Flames, Rui’s Katana drew an arc, and a flash of sword light gleamed. The Ancient Dragon died without realizing its head had been cut off.
It was only when the Dragon fell to the ground that Orlando and the others were able to see Rui’s figure.

“What? What’s…”

From behind the dumbfounded Orlando, a rough voice flew.

“Alright, alright, it’s my turn next! Get out of the way!!”

Akito, riding on Gae Bolg, flew through the sky as if gliding. He rose rapidly, and the moment the tip of the spear approached the Dragon’s throat, intense light enveloped the area.
As Orlando and Jack shielded their eyes from the light, a charred Dragon fell from the sky. It crashed into the ground, and a large cloud of dust rose.

“Hahahaha, how’s that! All that’s left is you, Yuma!”

Urged on by Akito, Yuma said, “Yeah!” and ran over.
Having seen its comrades defeated, the remaining Ancient Dragon flapped its wings in the sky and tried to turn and flee.
Yuma readied his Pickel and glared at the sky.

“I won’t let you get away!!”

When he swung his Pickel horizontally, a huge Tornado appeared before him. The Tornado, which had grown to connect the heavens and the earth, attacked the Dragon while writhing.
The Ancient Dragon, caught in the raging wind, was unable to escape and was torn to shreds inside the Tornado.
The Dragon, now in pieces, turned to sand in the air.

“Alright, alright, I defeated it in one shot. The accuracy of my magic is improving.”

Yuma snorted and put his Pickel on his shoulder.
Jack and Orlando, who were watching from behind, couldn’t understand what had happened and stood there in confusion.

“Hey, hey… just what are you guys?”

When Jack asked, Yuma turned around and grinned.

“We’ve come to defeat the Yellow King. To do that, we have to meet Prometheus… Where can we meet him?”

Jack swallowed hard and fell silent.
Their fighting was too brilliant. Everyone there understood that these three were not ordinary Seekers.
Orlando answered Yuma’s question.

“…I understand. I’ll guide you. To Prometheus, led by Flame Emperor Albert.”
