Episode 374: The Ultimate Giants
South Dakota, USA—
In a plain surrounded by high mountains, stood the Golden Deer.
It gazed at the distant sky, its entire body exposed to the dry wind. A large amount of Mana was approaching. It recognized this Mana.
It was an enemy it had fought before. It had won that time, but the Mana was more powerful than before. The Golden Deer hesitated. It, too, had become stronger. Even if they fought again, it would not lose.
The Deer turned its body and glared at the sky.
Very well. If you wish to fight me, I will face you as many times as it takes.
The Golden Deer, an absolute powerhouse, did not for a moment consider the possibility of defeat. Having devoured all the Magic Gems, it was an absolute being.
With Magical Power that surpassed the King and approached the realm of the gods, it would simply crush the enemy.
As the Deer thought this, a small shadow approached from beyond the mountains it was staring at.

Above Mount Rushmore, at an altitude of over 1,700 meters, was the silhouette of an aircraft.
A Dornier 328 equipped with jet engines. It was the transport plane Albert used to travel across the continent, and Yuma, Rui, and Akito were currently on board.
“We’ll be entering the area where the 【Yellow King】 was sighted soon. Stay alert.”
Albert did not sit in a seat but stood, staring ahead.
Yuma and the others were seated, but as they approached their destination, they felt a tense atmosphere. Yuma, who was sitting by the window, shifted his gaze outside.

“…He’s close. The 【Yellow King】 seems to have noticed us too.”
Rui stood up from his seat and walked over to Yuma.
“You can sense it, huh? The 【Yellow King’s】 presence.”
“Yeah, I’m going. Rui, you guys stay away. I think it’s going to be a pretty fierce fight.”

Ignoring the bewildered Rui, Yuma activated Metallization.
The moment his entire body was dyed black—Yuma Liquified his hand, spreading it out over the side of the aircraft.

As Rui shouted, the Metallized Yuma turned around and grinned.
“I’m going to settle this. I won’t lose this time!”
The liquid seeped into the interior through a small gap in the window frame and leaked out. Rui and Akito hurriedly looked out the window.
Yuma, now a round Metal Slime, was falling through the sky.
“That guy! He went alone.”
“But even if we followed, we’d only be a hindrance. We have no choice but to leave it to Yuma!”
As Rui and Akito watched, the Metal Slime spread its black wings and flew away.

I can feel a large mass of Magical Power. It has Dragon wings and a tail, but it’s currently in Metal Slime form.
Sensing its Magical Power was easy.
“He’s in the plains beyond the mountains!”
Yuma glided toward the location of his opponent. In the middle of the grassland was a shining deer. It was crackling with plasma and entering a battle stance.
“Excellent!!”
Yuma transformed into Metal Armor in mid-air, and further released the Deca Slime’s ability to Giantify. His wings also grew larger, flapping and catching the wind.
The Golden Deer also began to move.
It charged toward him at a tremendous speed. It seemed to be planning to go all out from the start. Yuma retracted his wings and went into free fall.
The Golden Deer also emitted a dazzling light. Emerging from that light was a Golden Giant.
It was the 【Yellow King’s】 combat form that had defeated Yuma.
The Black Giant fell to the ground, and the earth exploded. A large amount of dust danced and soared high, but the 【Yellow King】 charged in without concern.
Yuma also lowered his stance, covering his entire body with Wind Magical Power.
The Golden Giant unleashed a right straight. As if to match it, the Black Giant unleashed a right Seiken Zuki (Straight Punch).

The two Giants jumped back, creating distance between them.
Yuma exhaled and glared at his enemy.

Yuma focused his mind on the Chimera’s Jewel on the back of his left hand. One of the Jewels began to shine, and a dazzling light enveloped the Black Giant.
When the light subsided, the Giant’s appearance had changed. Its body remained black, but its entire body was covered in muscular armor, and shaggy body hair grew on its wrists and ankles.
Its body was that of the 【Varlin King】 that Yuma had fought. However, its face remained that of the Black Giant. Yuma had chosen the Conglomerate’s Partial Release instead of the Chimera’s Transformation.
–If I transform completely, I won’t be able to use Wind Magic. Even if I can’t draw out 100% of the 【Varlin King’s】 power, this form should be the best!
Yuma took a stance with both fists, glaring at the Golden Giant.
Green patterns floated on his body surface, and Wind Magical Power covered his entire body. The wind raged around him, and an extraordinary Magical Power was released.
The preparations were complete. Yuma kicked off the ground and charged toward his opponent.
In the Great Plains of South Dakota, the ultimate Giants collided.

The Dornier 328, carrying Albert and Rui, landed at the foot of the mountain, away from Yuma and the 【Yellow King】.
The hatch opened, and Akito was the first to jump out.
“What happened!? Are they already fighting?”
He made a visor with his hand and stared into the distance. From behind Akito, Albert and Rui walked over.
“Akito, there’s nothing we can do. Don’t recklessly jump in.”
At Rui’s words, Akito made a grim face, saying, “I know that!”
“Even so, we have to watch the fight to the end! Of course, Yuma will win, though.”
Seeing the state of Rui and Akito, Albert smiled.
