Episode 375: King’s Ore
Yuma activated Bloodstained Ore, causing red veins to flow across his body.
White steam rose from his steel skin, and his heart pounded like a rapid drumbeat. He lowered his stance slightly and took a step forward.
The earth exploded, scattering dust.
“UOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!”
The Yellow King ducked to avoid Yuma’s right hook and countered with a left straight. Yuma barely dodged it and took a step back.
Neither side’s attacks ceased.
A fierce exchange unfolded at tremendous speed, the crushing impact of their blows echoing far and wide.
Fist against fist, kick against kick. Neither was forced back in the collisions.
A completely even battle. Yuma took some distance and readjusted his stance.
–I was overwhelmed before, but now I can fight! The Boss Varlin’s physical abilities are really making a difference.
The Golden Giant charged, wreathed in Lightning. The Lightning Magical Power was stronger than before.
Did he get stronger by eating a ton of Magic Gems?
He unleashed a left straight with all his momentum. Yuma guarded with both arms, but it was deflected. He then drew back his right fist.
His combat ability is still incredible!
Yuma lowered his body slightly, focusing power throughout his body. The depths of his body simmered, and his temperature rose.
–I’ll settle this with this power!!
He unleashed an enhanced version of the Bloodstained Ore that Boss Varlin had used.
“Bloodstained Kings Ore!!”
Red-purple lines ran across his entire armor. It gleamed like magma, emitting a terrifying amount of Magical Power.
When Yuma took a step, the ground cracked, and fissures spread over a wide area.
Sensing something, the Yellow King took a step back. In that instant—Yuma kicked off the ground and lunged into his opponent’s space.
The Golden Giant crossed his arms to guard, but it was meaningless to Yuma.
“Uraaa!!”
The right straight he unleashed shattered the powerful Lightning Barrier and exploded against his opponent’s arm. An extraordinary impact and roar tore through the atmosphere.
The Golden Giant was blown backward, crashing into the face of the towering Mount Rushmore.
The exploding earth and sand billowed up, and a quarter of the mountain collapsed. The giant sculptures of the four presidents on the mountain were all destroyed by the impact.
Yuma pressed his attack without a moment’s pause.
–This “Bloodstained Kings Ore” ability only lasts about five minutes. If I don’t defeat the Yellow King within that time, I’ll lose!
As Yuma approached the mountain, the collapsed earth and sand exploded and blew away. The Yellow King burst out from within, heading toward him.
Still, Yuma didn’t flinch. He drew back his left arm, ready to intercept.
Against the right straight unleashed by the Golden Giant, he slammed a counter left straight.
His opponent’s attack missed, and only Yuma’s fist landed squarely.
Yuma’s combat ability was several levels higher.
The Golden Giant was sent flying by the fist embedded in his face. He crashed to the ground, spinning and rolling.
Yuma looked at the Yellow King, who was desperately trying to stand, and felt certain.
–He’s taken a lot of damage. With “Bloodstained Kings Ore,” I can overwhelm him after all!
Yuma went for the kill in one fell swoop. He charged forward and kicked the Yellow King’s side as he tried to stand.
A kick of tremendous power. The Golden Giant soared more than fifty meters into the air.
Reaching the highest point, he fell straight down.
Yuma moved to the point of impact. He would smash him the moment he fell! That’s what he thought, but the Yellow King began to crackle with light in the sky. He narrowed his eyes at the dazzling light.
Suddenly, a giant Gold Dragon appeared in the sky.
It opened its mouth wide and unleashed a flash of plasma.
The flash struck the earth, obliterating everything around it in an instant. The strongest Lightning Strike attack, slaughtering any living thing.
But Yuma was not there.
The giant Dragon looked around and noticed a figure kicking through the sky.
The steel giant was kicking off the wind, racing through the sky. The Golden Dragon couldn’t react to the speed.
Yuma, who was closing in, clasped his hands together and raised them high.
He swung them down like a Hammer, slamming them into the Gold Dragon’s body.
The Dragon couldn’t maintain its flight and fell vertically toward the ground.
The moment it collided with the earth—the ground exploded, and an earth-shattering roar erupted.
Yuma also landed on the ground and looked up.
Amidst the billowing smoke, the Golden Giant emerged, having transformed from the Dragon. He was seething with tremendous Magical Power.
He must have taken damage, but he seemed full of motivation.
The Golden Giant slowly picked up speed, gradually accelerating toward him.
Yuma responded in kind, running forward.
The two giants clashed on the Great Plains. The Yellow King used Lightning Footwork to launch a lightning-fast attack.
But Yuma responded with far greater speed.
He dodged the fist his opponent unleashed and threw a straight punch of his own. The Yellow King, who took the blow squarely to the face, staggered backward.
Yuma pressed forward, unleashing a barrage of punches with both fists.
The Golden Giant’s face, chest, abdomen, and arms were hammered by the powerful fists.
The Yellow King tried to defend somehow, but when Yuma’s roundhouse kick landed on his neck, he couldn’t withstand it.
He fell spectacularly, slamming his body into the ground.
He tried to get up immediately, but Yuma wouldn’t allow it.
He closed the distance in an instant and swung down his left fist. It landed squarely on his head, and the Yellow King was slammed into the ground again.
Yuma raised his right foot and stomped on his prone opponent’s chest. Each time he stomped, the ground cracked, and the Golden Giant sank into the earth.
Yuma didn’t give his opponent a chance to counterattack.
He grabbed the Golden Giant’s arm, pulled him out of the ground, and swung him around. It was a one-armed shoulder throw. He swung his opponent around and slammed him into the ground.
The earth shattered into pieces, and dust swirled.
Yuma lifted the Yellow King up again and slammed him into the ground.
Again, the earth cracked, and the ground exploded as if blown away. He repeated this over and over.
The Yellow King couldn’t counterattack. There was such an overwhelming difference in power.
After slamming the Yellow King into the ground seven times, Yuma tossed him into the air. He slammed a front kick into his falling opponent’s stomach.
The Yellow King’s body bent in a V-shape and was blown hundreds of meters away, crashing into the mountainside.
