Black Steel King – Chapter 431

Episode 426: Ceiling of Light

The White King swung his golden sword.
Yuma received the sword with his left fist, clad in golden armor. A “Lightning Barrier” enveloped his entire arm. The golden sword failed to cut through the fist, its momentum halted.
Yuma surged forward in one swift motion.

“Daraaah!!”

He deflected the sword and slammed a scorching fist into his opponent. One of the white dragon heads exploded and was blown away. Yuma pressed his attack.
A wind-infused fist gouged the White King’s abdomen, and an ice fist shattered his arm. Unleashing a lightning-clad fist, half of the White King’s body vanished.
Despite losing a significant portion of his body, he regenerated at an astonishing rate.
Yuma raised his leg and unleashed a front kick.
It landed squarely in the abdomen, sending his opponent flying over fifty meters.
He collided with the white wall, sliding down to a crouching position.
If only it had some effect… Yuma thought, but the White King, having regenerated his body at an incredible speed, stood up as if nothing had happened, holding golden swords in both hands.

“Looks like this won’t be easy after all.”

The Three-Headed White Dragon glared at him, remaining motionless.
Was he telling him to come at him?

“Fine by me! Bloodstained Ore!!”

Red veins coursed through his entire body. His gears shifted, and he dashed through the white space.
Closing the distance in the blink of an eye, he loomed before his opponent.

“Ooooooooooooooh!!”

Lowering his stance, he unleashed a barrage of four-fisted attacks. With speed that created afterimages, he mercilessly destroyed his opponent’s body.
The White King swung his swords, but fists clad in a Magical Barrier shattered them.
Having lost his means of attack, the Three-Headed Dragon unleashed a “White Flash” from its three mouths.
It was the most intense flash he had ever endured.
Yuma guarded his head with his arms, desperately trying to withstand it. How long will this last!? He wondered, as what felt like an eternity passed, and the light gradually subsided.
Releasing his guard and looking ahead, he saw the Three-Headed Dragon standing still.
Did he think he could defeat him with that one attack?

“How naive!!”

Yuma channeled Wind Magical Power, increasing the rotation speed of his legs.
Instantly closing the gap, he unleashed a four-armed rush. But the moment his fists were about to strike—the White King’s figure vanished.

—What!?

As Yuma turned around, the White King slashed at him with his golden sword. Even in this size, he could use Lightspeed Movement?
His back split open, but the wound immediately closed. He still couldn’t destroy the Liquid Metal body.
The only thing that could inflict damage was magic. But White Magic was ineffective.
Probably because it was an inorganic metal.
Yuma turned back and swung a Magical Power-charged golden fist.
The Lightning-clad strike obliterated two of the Three-Headed Dragon’s heads. As he was about to unleash a fire fist, the White King’s body was enveloped in light.
From within the overflowing radiance, something burst forth like an explosion.

“What is this?!”

Floating in the space were normal-sized angels. There were thousands of them. He could transform like this!?
Yuma cautiously took a step back.
The angels, each wielding a Sword of Light, charged at him in unison. A wave of light surged towards him like a flood. Yuma unleashed “Fire” and “Water” fists.
Hundreds of angels exploded or froze and shattered into pieces. However, most of the angels evaded the attacks and slashed at Yuma.
Although they didn’t inflict any damage, they were incredibly fast.
The wave of angels circled through the space and attacked again.
To counter, Yuma drew back his “Lightning” and “Wind”-clad fists. The moment the angels collided, he unleashed both fists with all his might.
He slaughtered hundreds of angels again, but he couldn’t strike down all of them. The angels unleashed their slashes in unison.

“Annoying. But I can’t kill them with magic…”

The angels made a sharp turn and charged. The angels he had defeated had revived and rejoined the flood of light. Yuma lowered his four fists.

—How about this!

Black shadows stretched forward from his feet. The instant the angels collided, hundreds of needles extended from the giant’s body. Hundreds of needles also protruded from the shadows, piercing the angels’ bodies.
Yuma poured power into his entire body. The needles turned bright red, causing the angels to explode one after another.
If he had to directly infuse them with magic, this method was optimal.
The angels fell apart, their bodies burning away. Yuma retracted the needles and glared at the approaching angels. He drew them in as close as possible before thrusting out over a thousand needles.
Unable to evade, the angels were impaled.
He infused them with “Fire” Magical Power once more, blasting them away. Light particles overflowed from the incinerated bodies of the angels. Gathering in one place, they formed a massive shadow.
The White King reappeared in his Demon Lord form. Spreading his large wings, he looked down at him.
Thinking he was coming, Yuma lowered his stance, ready for battle.
However, the Demon Lord flapped his wings and flew into the sky. Was he trying to escape? As Yuma was about to give chase, the Demon Lord stopped in mid-air and pointed both hands downward.
A curtain of light appeared in the sky. Not knowing what it was, Yuma sprouted wings from his back and kicked off the ground, taking flight.
He tried to approach the Demon Lord, but collided with the curtain of light, losing his balance in the air.

“What is this? It’s pretty tough.”

Yuma transformed one of his arms. It became the Metal Red dragon head. The dragon opened its ferocious jaws and unleashed a scorching Fireball.
It collided with the Ceiling of Light, creating a tremendous explosion.
Yuma landed on the white floor, waiting for the smoke to clear. After a while, the lingering smoke dissipated, and his vision cleared.
What he saw was the Ceiling of Light still stretched across the sky. He hadn’t been able to destroy it.

“Is he… trying to trap me?”
