Mountain Internet Saintess – Chapter 11

I brought the transformed Felmaa into the Log House.

Taking a moment to observe her closely, I noted her appearance: she looked to be in her early twenties, with long, fluffy silver hair cascading down her back. Perched atop her head were pointed dog ears that stood upright.

Her figure was strikingly voluptuous—ample bosom, a slim waist, and a rounded backside that would make even the most seasoned gravure idol envious. From just above her tailbone, a fluffy silver tail sprouted, completing her enchanting look.

Currently, the humanized Felmaa was clad only in my white down jacket, leaving her quite exposed. If a young man were to see her like this, he would likely turn beet red and avert his gaze.

Surrounding Felmaa were the Puppy Fenrir, Feruta, and Feruco, who were sniffing around her curiously. Meanwhile, Ferumi was nestled comfortably in my arms.

“Hey! Feruta, Feruco! Stop that!” I scolded, noticing the two trying to latch onto Felmaa’s bosom. However…

“Can she even produce milk in that form?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
“No, it seems she cannot,” came the reply.

“So, she’ll have to revert to her Fenrir form when it’s time to nurse?”
“Yes. Moreover, maintaining this form consumes a significant amount of magic power.”

“So, she can’t stay like this for too long, huh?”
“Indeed. However, it doesn’t seem like she’ll run out of magic power immediately.”

“Okay. Just let me know when you’re running low on magic.”

If she were to revert back to her original form now, the Log House would surely be destroyed.

After a while, during the nursing time, Feruta and Feruco fell into a deep sleep after feeding, sprawled out on the electric carpet.

“For now, Felmaa, put on some clothes.”
“If that is your wish.”

I dressed her in the outfit I had purchased from KAMIZON, but I quickly had to take it off again. The size was completely wrong, especially around the chest area.

“I’ll buy you some new clothes.”
“Oh no! That would be too much!”

“Don’t worry about it. I have plenty of points, and besides, you earned those points, so don’t hold back.”

“Understood. If the Saintess insists, then I shall accept.”

Thus, I decided to buy Felmaa some clothes. I picked up my tablet PC and sat next to her.

“Here, choose whatever you like.”
“What is this thin board?”

“It’s a clothing catalog. Well, it’s a book.”
“A book!? This thin board is a book?”

“Exactly! Look, if you slide your finger across the surface like you would with a regular book…”
“!? The pages turned! This is amazing!”

Before long, Felmaa finished selecting her favorite outfit.

I proceeded to purchase the clothes from KAMIZON, but…

“Felmaa, are you really okay with that maid outfit?”

She had chosen a maid outfit—complete with a black skirt, a frilly apron, and a headpiece. The term “beastman maid” flitted through my mind.

“Yes. As one who serves the God, I believe a maid’s attire is fitting.”
“Well, if you’re happy with it, then I won’t argue.”

In a Japanese-style room, a maid with dog ears stood out like a sore thumb. The mismatch was striking, but if that’s what she wanted, I wouldn’t deny her.

“By the way… Felmaa, what happens to the outfit if you revert back to your Fenrir form?”
“That would… tear it to shreds.”

“Of course.”

Felmaa could transform into a human, but she couldn’t change the size of her clothes.

“I feel bad about tearing the clothes you’ve given me each time I transform.”

Even though I had enough points, it would be a hassle to keep buying new outfits every time.

“This is a problem… What should we do?”
“Hm… I know! Let’s search online.”

Earlier, I had been able to look up Felmaa’s status on the Internet.

“Fenrir human transformation clothes no tear method. Let’s search.”

And then…

“I found something!”

It seemed that the power of the Internet was indeed changing. My Internet skills allowed me to access knowledge and information from this other world, and now I could even search for things. Wasn’t that a bit of a cheat?

“I see. It seems we can manage this with the app ‘Let’s Become Familiars.’”

Felmaa tilted her head in confusion. What did it mean to turn clothes into familiars?

I launched the app “Let’s Become Familiars” and snapped a picture of Felmaa’s maid outfit.

By taking a photo of the target you wish to turn into a familiar, you could incorporate it. This was the same process I had used with Felmaa before.

But this time was different. The screen prompted me to name the familiar.

I typed in, “Maid Outfit that can Change Shape.”

“Alright, Felmaa. Let’s go outside.”

Felmaa followed me, tilting her head in curiosity. We stepped into the garden of the Log House.

“Felmaa, revert to your Fenrir form.”
“Yes!”

With a flash, Felmaa’s body began to glow. She grew larger and larger.

With a puff of black smoke, a magnificent silver beast appeared, adorned with a large ribbon around its neck.

“Looks like everything is fine.”
“What happened to the maid outfit?”

“The maid outfit transformed into the ribbon around your neck.”
“!?!?”

“Why are you surprised?”
“Because the Saintess has accomplished an incredible feat!”

“An incredible feat…?”

Did I really do something so remarkable?

“Enchanting an object without magic power with magical effects is called ‘Maka.’”
“Maka, huh? And what about it?”

“The technique of Maka was lost in ancient times.”
“…What?”

The technique of Maka had been lost…?

“Wait, that can’t be true. There are magic tools, right? Aren’t those also a form of Maka?”

Magic tools are items that exhibit magical effects. I didn’t know how they were made, but if they could be enchanted with magic, wouldn’t that also count as Maka?

“To create magic tools, you need magic stones harvested from monsters.”
“Magic stones?”

“Yes. By inscribing a spell onto the magic stone and embedding it into an item, a magic tool is created.”
“I see. So magic stones are absolutely necessary for making magic tools.”

“Yes. However, the Saintess has just granted a magical effect to clothing without using any magic stones.”
“True… wait, could it be…?”

I finally understood what Felmaa was getting at. Magic stones were essential for creating magic tools, yet I had done it without them.

“No one in modern times can perform pure Maka without using magic stones. Not even the finest craftsmen of the Dwarf Kingdom.”

“Is that so…?”
“Moreover, the process of Maka using magic stones requires an enormous amount of time and money.”

What I had done was simply take a quick photo and give it a name. It hadn’t even taken me ten seconds.

“Amazing! Saintess!”

It seemed I had unknowingly accomplished something incredible. Indeed, with this method, I could easily create magic tools just by naming them, without any cost.

If I sold these, I could make a fortune. But I would never do that.

After all, if I started selling them, people would inevitably question how I made them. I didn’t want to deal with that hassle.

Besides, Felmaa could earn money just by hunting monsters. There was no need for me to sell magic tools.

“Felmaa, let’s keep this between us.”
“Understood! This will be our little secret, Saintess!”

Felmaa wagged her tail excitedly.

“Exactly. Now, let’s return to the Puppy Fenrir.”

With a poof, Felmaa transformed back into her human form, still wearing the maid outfit.

However… the Internet is incredible. No, it’s terrifying. The fact that I can search for knowledge from another world is mind-boggling. I wonder if I could even find methods for world domination…

Well, I wouldn’t do that. What I desire is a peaceful life.

However, with the Internet, the need for the Demi-Goddess seems to diminish. Until now, I had been asking her questions about things I didn’t understand.

But often, her responses took too long, which was quite frustrating. Now, I could search for anything online.

I didn’t need to bother the Demi-Goddess anymore; I could look up whatever I wanted. Dealing with her annoying antics was a hassle, and I didn’t want to contact her anymore…

“Welcome back, Mika-rin!”

In the living room stood a stranger—a woman with blonde hair, dressed in white, and sporting white wings on her back.

…That appearance, and the way she called me Mika-rin, could it be…?

“Demi-Goddess…?”
“YES! Your very own Demi-Goddess-chan is here★”
“Why are you here…?”

“I came to visit! I brought a souvenir!”
