My Magic Power is Unreasonably High – Chapter 69

“Your treatment of Ortenos is clearly abnormal! Don’t tell me you’ve resorted to ‘Forbidden Magic’?!”
“Kukuku, to arrive at that conclusion with just this much, it seems the Ballista title is well-deserved.”

Uzelashi frankly praised Evelyn for realizing the truth.
Then, he traced Evelyn’s glossy lower lip with his thumb.

“S-Stop it!”

Evelyn glared at Uzelashi sharply.
Seeing that, Uzelashi wore a blissful expression of satisfaction.

“Juururu… I’ve heard that you learned people from the Far East are often rebellious and arrogant women, and it seems to be true. But that’s good, it makes it all the more enjoyable.”
“…!”

Evelyn sensed a hint of wicked desire in Uzelashi’s expression, and cold sweat ran down her back.

“First, I’ll cut off all your limbs. Once you lose the power to resist, even you will twist your face in despair. Watching that will be more comforting than anything else.”
“Hmph… it seems you really are an inhuman monster.”

“Kuhaha, you see, I’m the type to serve the women I like to the fullest. I wouldn’t kill a young and beautiful woman like you so easily. I’ll slowly violate you until your screams become faint and you can’t make a sound anymore.”

Uzelashi’s hand was about to reach from Evelyn’s lower lip, inside her nun’s habit, towards her ample breasts—when a man’s rough voice echoed.

“What the hell are you doing in the Muscle Apostle-sama’s castle?!”

What appeared was a middle-aged, large man with a buzz cut, a Military Official.
And behind him, three young Military Officials stood by with tense expressions.

“D-Dadinga-san, this is bad.”
“The opponent is the Court of Justice…!”
“If we cause trouble here, there will definitely be responsibility issues…”

The three young Military Officials voiced their concerns to the large man, Dadinga.

“Ah-ha-ha, don’t worry. We won’t cause trouble for the Apostle-sama. And don’t worry, I won’t make you take responsibility.”

Dadinga grinned, showing his white teeth to his three subordinates.
Uzelashi, who had been watching the scene, narrowed his eyes.
From his attire, he could tell that he was a Military Official from Ortenos.

“Hey you, what’s with that bizarre hairstyle? I’ll ask just in case, but who are you?”
“Cheers! I’m Dadinga, patrolling Bangwall! I won’t allow you to do whatever you want here any longer.”

Dadinga spoke to Uzelashi in a cheerful voice that seemed out of place in the situation.
It was already not a situation that could be resolved amicably, but it was still a measure to prevent further damage.

“Hmph, don’t let some Ortenos Military Official interfere! If you defy the Court of Justice, you’ll all be sentenced to death. If you don’t want to die, you better turn back and shut up.”
“We can’t do that. You guys are committing such atrocities without even greeting the current lord, Lord Sharka. What on earth is the Court of Justice thinking?”
“Kuhaha, Ortenos has gone too far. Sharka and Radnock both ignored the Lanecki Family’s intentions, so this is what happened.”

Dadinga realized that this commotion was not Uzelashi’s sole decision and frowned.
Ridiculous laws like the Special Taxation Act were often used by Lanecki as a means to burden Ortenos.
Probably, the goal this time was to mess up Bangwall and interfere with the Ceasefire Talks.

“You guys, start!”

Uzelashi gave instructions to the other Tax Officers.
The Tax Officers split into two groups, one group began collecting property.
The other group started doing something unbelievable.

“Could that be… Lord Sharka…?”
“N-No way…”
“Those guys… I can’t forgive them…!”

The people, shedding tears, made a bitter decision, one by one stepping on the copper plates engraved with Sharka’s picture.
The three young Military Officials were about to lose their minds with anger.
For them, being able to go on their First Campaign with Sharka was the greatest honor.
The moment they defeated the enemy leader Barbat before their eyes and raised a war cry, their loyalty to Sharka reached its peak.
To have Sharka’s honor tarnished was equal to a suffering that was dozens of times more concentrated than having their own bodies cut.

However, Dadinga stopped the three who looked like they were about to jump out at any moment with his hand.

“Please… please just stop denigrating our lord.”

Dadinga lowered his head and said as if squeezing the words out from the back of his throat.
The three young Military Officials knew that Dadinga had respected Sharka for much longer than they had.
They also knew that he was probably feeling more frustrated than anyone else in this place.
But if Dadinga had chosen to show sincerity, they couldn’t possibly push their own way through by rejecting it.

“Kuku, Kuaa-hah-hah-hah! This is a masterpiece. I thought the fool of Ortenos had achieved great Military Achievement, but if his subordinates are like this, then Sharka is just a ‘stray dog with its fangs pulled out’.”
“…”

Dadinga’s expression changed in an instant.
The Ortenos family crest is a wolf.
Words that directly mocked it were the greatest insult to House Ortenos.
If you were an Ortenos Military Official, you would never allow insults to your lord.

“What’s wrong, you with the bizarre hairstyle! Can’t you say anything? So you guys and Sharka are just stray dogs after all… huh?”

In the middle of Uzelashi’s words, Dadinga had already jumped out.
While running, he shouted “Hmph” and burst (cast off) his upper body clothes.
Dadinga’s figure was like a muscle bullet.

“Muscle Ripple Style Seventh Form: Muscle Bone Meteor Kick! …Eishaa, Eishaa, Aaaaryooo shaaaaaa!”

Dadinga closed the distance in an instant, jumped up, and unleashed a three-stage spinning kick in mid-air.
The first and second kicks struck his temple diagonally to the lower left, and Uzelashi bounced off the ground twice.
And when the instep of Dadinga’s foot completely caught Uzelashi’s cheek, who had bounced up for the second time, Uzelashi flew away while spinning like a drill.

“Kkakarychoa… Kacho… Bucho… …Shachoooaaaa!”

Uzelashi, who had been kicked away with great force, slammed his head into the ground and bounced several times.
After that, he proceeded along the ground, scraping it like a screw, and eventually stopped.
Uzelashi’s wig was blown away by the impact, barely retaining its original form.

“We Ortenos are proud Great Wolves! No one will ever be allowed to tarnish that name!”

Dadinga shouted that in one breath, and cheers rose from the surroundings.
While the Court of Justice was shaken by Dadinga’s sudden action, Uzelashi poked his face out from the ground with a boko sound.

“Ha! Where’s my Hairpeace’s?!”

More than reacting to being kicked, he first noticed that his prized First-Class Tax Officer exclusive curly wig had completely come off.
Uzelashi looked around restlessly, and eventually found it.

“My Hairpeace’s isssss!”

It had been tragically destroyed.
It was just a wig after all, it couldn’t be made as strong as his own body.
Uzelashi picked it up with unsteady steps and put it on his head.
Then, he took out a hand mirror from his pocket with a trembling hand and looked at his own figure.

What was reflected in the mirror was like—a mud-covered vagrant with coral on his head.

He began to tremble with too much shock, and Uzelashi dropped the hand mirror.

“I’ll kill you! I’m going to kill youuuuu!”

Uzelashi screamed, his face dyed bright red with anger, scattering saliva and blood.
