Reincarnated Captain Hunter’s Child – Chapter 102

“You’ve brought back something quite extraordinary.”
“When such a massive thing suddenly appeared, I thought my heart would leap out of my chest.”
“Ah, I should have told you in advance. My apologies.”

I was a little too excited.

“This thing was absorbing the magical power of that region every six months, for many years.”
“Many years… the 4,500 years you mentioned earlier?”
“No, since magical power formed in this world… how long is that?”
“Approximately 4,300 years.”
“Almost the same period, huh…”
“Yes.”

Well, that’s an interesting coincidence.

“So it seems. However, now that we’ve moved it, that land will eventually be filled with magical power. Influenced by the surrounding natural environment, it will probably be reborn as a plain or forest, don’t you think?”
“I-is that so? Well, good work.”
“Yes. This completes the request.”

A Giant Battleship has been added to a corner of the base, though.

“By the way, Master, who are these people?”
“They all have the same face.”
“These are Androids. The humanoid version of Drones. They can speak and act like humans.”
““““We look forward to working with you.”””

The Androids greet everyone at the base.

“We need to prepare a Mother Brain for the Androids.”
“Mother Brain?”
“Right now, they’re operating with the Amur Adonis as their main unit. That’s why they can’t move too far away from the Amur Adonis.”

Even within the base, the agricultural area and residential area are the limit.

“Well, there were still escape pods left. We’ll pull one from there.”

Hide it in the power plant or somewhere in the castle.

“But to think there was such a massive flying ship in the sky…”
“It’s beyond the realm of humans.”
“That thing is artificial, you know.”

It was made by humans, not created by gods or anything like that.

“How about it? Wouldn’t it be interesting to conquer this country… no, this continent soon?”
“Indeed. How about ignoring the surrounding Lords and attacking each King’s castle all at once with that ship?”
“I won’t do it, and it’s not interesting.”

Why do I have to seize a country!

“It’s turned out to be an interesting result.”
“Yes, it’s quite unexpected. I thought there were similar ingredients, but…”

Green, the Android in charge of the Farm Area, was concerned about the DNA of certain ingredients, so we decided to investigate.
Vegetables that I and the people of this country were eating. They were derived from, or evolved, or devolved from things we had brought in the past.
In any case, it seems that what we once brought in from the outside and cultivated was the origin.

“To think that traces of our influence remain in human diets.”
“Captain might even be a descendant of the Captain? We have DNA data, so we can investigate.”
“I don’t need it.”

Nothing will change just by knowing that.

“The bovine and porcine Monsters are probably prime examples. They are likely descendants of those kept by the Captain and others.”
“The ones we regenerated in the Farm Area and brought out. That’s possible. We let quite a few escape.”

The Androids stopped when the Amur Adonis was deactivated. I learned a lot from the Androids with strong knowledge of dairy farming, but they are doing human work. It’s not perfect.
Also, from a certain point onwards, transactions with the local humans began, so there is a possibility that it flowed out from there.

“Those creatures returned to the wild and became Monsters due to the influence of magical power.”
“It’s also possible that the ones we kept became Monsters and got out of hand.”

It is entirely possible that the existence of such creatures made it impossible to live in the residential area. It was a long time ago, so we don’t know the correct answer, but there are many things that come to mind.

“Well, there’s no point in thinking about it now. More importantly, what’s the status of the main engine repair?”
“Yes. Thanks to the Captain providing a large amount of rare earth elements, the repair will be completed sooner than expected. It was scheduled for six months, but it should be completed in three months.”
“Well, refining metal takes a certain amount of time.”
“I’m surprised you still had so many materials hidden away.”
“I’ve already brought in most of it, though. It’s going to be a long voyage, so I loaded up what I needed.”

We don’t know our current location, nor do we know the current year. In such a situation, we must search for traces of the Unified Space Force and join up with them.
We have no idea what, how much, or how many we will need.

“It may be a long voyage that humans cannot endure. You Androids are our only hope.”
“We understand. We will not neglect our mission.”
“Of course, you won’t.”

That’s how you were made.
