“Starting today, I will be your homeroom teacher for the next three years. I’m Miranda Audrey.”
We entered the classroom and took our seats, listening to our homeroom teacher’s brief self-introduction and explanations about the upcoming classes and school life at the Royal Academy.
The Royal Academy is a boarding school, a rule that even Royalty must follow. Bringing attendants is strictly forbidden… or so it seems, but ultimately, they’re practically here anyway, enrolling as students themselves.
“Alright… one, two, three…”
I scanned the students in the class, counting on my fingers.
What am I doing? Confirming the heroines who are in the same class as me, of course.
From now on, the heroines of “EnHaza” will surely get involved with the protagonist, Wilfred, and the stepping stone, me… or so I thought.
“Muuuuuuuu.”
“Ah, no, it’s not what you think!”
Oh no, Sandra is sulking because I was checking out the heroines.
Of course, she probably doesn’t think I’m doing it because I’m interested in other girls, but that doesn’t change the fact that she’s jealous.
So, I desperately tried to explain myself, insisting that I wasn’t looking at any other girls. She wasn’t convinced, though.
However, there was someone in the classroom who was watching my behavior.
“Yo, you’ve got good taste.”
A male student spoke to me casually, with a slightly rough tone.
I know this guy. I do know him, but…
“Um… what was your name again?”
“Oops, I haven’t introduced myself yet. I’m Lloyd Sancroft. Nice to meet you.”
As I tilted my head, he… Lloyd, extended his right hand.
“I-I’m Harold. Nice to meet you too.”
Of course, I shook his hand in a friendly manner.
By the way, all I know about him is that he’s a capture character from “Galhaza” and one of the people in the opening title illustration.
However, judging from his atmosphere and tone, he has a strong playboy vibe, so he’s definitely going to be the handsome-but-unreliable character in “Galhaza.” Yeah, that’s definitely it.
“Um… as far as I know, there’s only one guy named Harold in this academy…”
“Ahaha, you’re probably right.”
“Eh!? I-I’m terribly sorry!”
He finally realized who I was and hurriedly prostrated himself.
Even though I had a Duel with Wilfred in the Central Plaza, my face isn’t well-known even among the nobles… even though everyone knows the bad reputation of the ‘incompetent villainous prince.’ Damn it.
“We’re the same age, and we’ll be working together for the next three years, so you don’t need to use honorifics. I’d be happy if you just called me Harold.”
“E-Eh, um… a-are you sure?”
“Of course.”
I reached out my hand and helped Lloyd up.
“Heh. If that’s the case, I’ll take you up on that.”
“You’re quick to change your tune.”
I couldn’t help but retort at Lloyd, who was laughing lightly.
Well, it’s much better than him being overly cautious.
“So, to continue what we were talking about earlier, I think that young lady is…”
“Lord Lloyd. I’m sorry, but please don’t invite Lord Hal to do such things.”
Oh oh, Sandra is giving Lloyd an absolutely frigid stare for starting to appraise the young ladies.
But the fact that it’s only this much means that she’s holding back for my sake. Good, it looks like a bloodbath will be avoided.
“N-Now, Prince Harold… who is this young lady…?”
“My fiancée.”
“I am Alexandra of Chevalier.”
“Eh!? The daughter of a Benefactor!? I-I’m terribly sorry!”
Lloyd showed us another beautiful prostration, just like before.
Also, Christia was prostrating herself too, so maybe the prostration style is surprisingly popular in this world… no way.
“Um… you just called Sandra ‘the daughter of a Benefactor’…”
“O-Oh… my family’s Baltian Church branch in Dehauvalz receives a large amount of donations from the Chevalier family…”
Ah, I see. Lloyd is a member of the clergy nobility.
But if his family is from the Dehauvalz branch, does that mean he’s the son of Archbishop Sancroft? That’s a bit surprising.
“S-Sandra. Lloyd didn’t mean any harm, and he didn’t seem to know that you and I are fiancées, so…”
“…I’m not angry. I just want Lord Hal to have a proper school life.”
With that, Sandra turned her face away with a “hmph.”
What should I do? I made her super jealous today. It’s too cute.
“A-Ahaha… Lloyd-kun seems to be reflecting on his actions, so he won’t do it again, right?”
“O-Of course!”
Lloyd nodded his head with all his might at my follow-up, desperately trying to appeal to her.
Although she’s still not completely convinced, it seems like Sandra has given in.
So.
“T-That’s right. Sandra, just a moment…”
I took her small hand and left the classroom.
“Ah…”
“From now on, Sandra, you’re the only one for me. No matter what kind of woman appears, I’ll never look at anyone else.”
I hugged Sandra and whispered in her ear.
“Yes… please, only look at me, okay?”
Sandra hugged me back and replied in a sweet voice.
But… hey, your grip is a little too strong, isn’t it? Please be a little gentler.
