Rogue Prince – Chapter 150

“Class A…”

We arrived in front of Class A, where Warren was.
Today’s classes had just ended. Warren was probably still inside the classroom.

“I’m curious about what kind of classes the upperclassmen are taking, so let’s take a peek.”

Of course, that’s a lie.
I have absolutely no interest in the second-year classes, and besides, this world is far behind my previous life. Aside from history, there’s hardly anything to gain from looking.

I’m just peeking into the classroom to bring Warren and Ulysses together.

“Now then, let’s see what’s going on.”

I peered into the classroom, feigning interest.
And then… there he was.

“Eh!?…”

Warren, who had been chatting with the female students, noticed me and made a really sour face.
Still, the fact that he’s surrounded by female students is largely due to him being a tall, handsome guy like a Galhaza capture character, but also because he played an active role in defeating the delinquent students at that party.

As proof, one or two of the female students in the classroom are giving Warren looks that could kill.
In other words, those female students are probably victims who had their weaknesses exposed by that guy at last year’s party.

Well, whatever.
It’s certain that I’ll eventually drag that guy down to hell. So until then… just bear with it a little longer.

That’s why I brought Ulysses to this academy.

“Hey, you seem to be having fun talking with the female students. Can I join in?”

I plastered a smile on my face and spoke to Warren.
Of course, he makes a disgusted face, but I don’t care.

More importantly, when will he notice?
That Ulysses Stone, the guy you used to bully, is here…

“Eh!? …Is it true that you are associating with that man, despite being the Third Prince of the Dehauvalz Kingdom?”
“You have no right to interfere in my relationships. Besides, do you even know who he is?”

I glared back at Warren, who was glaring at Ulysses with resentment, and said in a low voice.

“Yes, of course. This man is Ulysses Stone. A criminal who once brought down the people of Dehauvalz… a descendant of the barbaric Norsemen.”

With that one statement, the classroom began to stir.
Everyone in this country knows about the Norsemen, so it can’t be helped.

“Hmm… so what?”
“‘So what’?”
“That’s right. I don’t care about something that happened over three hundred years ago, and more importantly, the Stone family has now been granted the title of Margrave and is serving this kingdom. Seriously, how long are you going to hold a grudge?”

I stood in front of Ulysses as if to protect him, provoking Warren.
Although I’m trying to appear calm, my heart has been pounding since earlier.

Because… even though his face, hair, and eye color are completely different from that male student from that day, he clearly recognizes him as Ulysses Stone.

“Monica, sorry, but please take Ulysses-kun outside the classroom.”
“Understood.”

Monica bowed respectfully and led Ulysses, who looked somewhat frightened, out of the classroom.
I feel bad for him, but it’s to protect my Precious Thing and myself. I’ve decided to accept that.

So, I won’t regret it.

“Hmph… ‘Incompetent Rascal Prince’ is a fitting description.”
“Shut up…!”
“Sandra.”
“…I apologize.”

I put my right hand out to stop Sandra, who was about to rush forward, and she bit her lip and looked down.
If I left her alone, Sandra would surely trample Warren with her blood-red eyes. If that happened, she could be harmed.

“I don’t want to be told that by someone who can only bully the weak like on the day of the entrance ceremony, despite being the son of the Knight Commander. And is it safe to assume that Wilfred is allowing such disrespect? If so, as his older brother, I have to punish him.”
“Eh!? …I apologize. My words were excessive.”
“It’s too late now. And… not only on that day, but today as well, you insulted my friend in the same way. Be prepared.”

I spat out those words and turned on my heel.
Still, even though I was implicitly saying that the male student from the entrance ceremony and Ulysses were the same person, Warren didn’t deny it.

But I, Sandra, and Monica clearly recognize that the male student and Ulysses are different people.
Nevertheless, Warren thinks they’re the same person, so this is getting even more confusing.

Anyway.

“Sandra, everyone, let’s go.”
“…”

First, let’s organize the situation and think about it.
Even if I can’t figure it out alone, I’m sure I can find the answer by borrowing the power of everyone… my Precious Thing.

We ignored Warren, who was giving us a murderous glare, and left the classroom.
