I actually wanted to include this at the chapter break, but I missed the timing.

●Natsume Kouichi

The protagonist. Ko-chan.
His occupation is a full-time Explorer.

He’s looking forward to being able to form a party with Otama-chan.
Due to a long period of low self-esteem, he’s timid when it comes to romance.

He’s fundamentally a good person. He wants to help Manamin and Shi-chan if they’re in trouble. However, he has no intention of adopting Manamin.

His current goal is: “To find out the limits of his own strength.”
His current wishes are: “To meet with all four Secret Base Members and talk leisurely,” and “To use the power he’s gained to help everyone.”

Due to his large number of skills, his adaptability and skill attack power are higher than Explorers of the same level.
He himself longs for a fighting style using swords and magic, so he wants to further increase his own combat power.

Before romance and friendship differentiated for her, the time she spent with Ko-chan at the Secret Base was so much fun that she longs for a “best friend and lover” type of relationship.

Her current goal is: “To marry Ko-chan.”
Her current worry is: “She’s worried that Manamin might take Ko-chan (and his time) away from her.”

Additionally, the 【Water User】 skill offers a higher degree of freedom in what can be done compared to 【Water Magic】, and she uses the skill as if she’s playing with water.

Her interests are manga, games, anime, and the internet.
She became knowledgeable about Explorers while following online discussions.

She’s good at talking superficially and for a short time with people she’s just met, using a persona she’s created, but it doesn’t last beyond the first meeting.
She’s bad at genuine communication and self-disclosure.

As a child, she opened up to Shi-chan and consulted her about various things.
She can talk casually with Ko-chan and Otama-chan even without any particular topic.
After reuniting, she once again realized the preciousness of their relationship.

She’s skilled at makeup techniques she learned online that can make her look like a different person.

Her current goal is: “To be able to live without working.”

She loves reading, especially fairy tales, but currently, due to her job’s necessities, she only reads specialized books on dungeons and law.

She used to live near the Secret Base, but moved to Tokyo to prepare for middle school entrance exams.
After that, she passed all her exams and has been walking a pristine elite path.

On the other hand, somewhere in her heart, she tends to fantasize about an “if” world where “what if I hadn’t moved to Tokyo.”
In particular, she feels guilty about leaving behind the (at the time) delicate Manamin.

Her current goal is: “To become a full-fledged Exploration Officer.”
What she thinks somewhere in her heart is: “I want to spend fun times like when we were at the Secret Base.”
