Chapter 6: The Abandoned Prince, Actually Asks For It
Since ancient times, the concept of mixed bathing has existed for baths. It’s a wonderful thing where men and women soak in the same hot water, deepening their bonds.
However, alas, it’s ultimately just a concept in name only. Young men who head to mixed baths with ulterior motives and faint hopes in their hearts usually only see old geezers of the same sex, or at best, old aunties.
But!! Now!! I am!!
“…This is just too perfect, isn’t it?”
“H-Hey, Reichel. Don’t stare so much.”
“I don’t mind if you look at me more, you know. I don’t have a figure I’d be ashamed for anyone to see.”
“Haha-ue, doesn’t that make it sound like I have a figure I should be ashamed for people to see?!”
Before my eyes are two beautiful women. They’ve wrapped towels around their large breasts to hide them, but their sheer presence cannot be concealed. Their destructive power is off the charts. Watching their breasts sway with a “do-ta-pun” sound with every step they take is a true blessing for the eyes.
And both of them had outstanding figures.
Rosemary, perhaps because she trains, has a toned and firm-looking body.
In contrast, Alkalion’s must be all-natural. She’s always had that kind of figure; one might call it a beauty perfected from birth.
A beauty forged through training, and a flawless, perfect beauty. It’s not a matter of which is superior; both are magnificent.
“Eei!! I told you not to look!! Let’s get in the bath quickly!!”
“Ah, wait, wait. You get into the hot water after you’ve washed your body and rinsed off the sweat.”
“Mmph. Y-You’re right, indeed. If I don’t wash first, the water will get dirty and bother those who enter after me, huh.”
Next to the enormous bathtub, which could likely fit dozens of people, are several small shower rooms. Apparently, this bathhouse can only be used by the imperial family and those they’ve permitted; there isn’t one for the knights, soldiers, or maids yet.
The reason for this is, apparently, Alkalion barged into the bathhouse to experience the bath for herself. If Alkalion personally tries the bath and deems it useful, they plan to build a large public bath in the Imperial Castle that knights, soldiers, and maids can also use. It seems they’ll install many more shower rooms in that one.
No matter how much people say baths have the effect of healing daily fatigue, in a world where the idea that “showers are enough” is commonplace, to think they’d just casually build bathhouses one after another based on my single opinion… Alkalion’s proactiveness and decisiveness, not to mention the Empire’s technological prowess, are incredible.
“I-I’m telling you, no peeking, okay?”
“Ahaha, I know, I know.”
The shower rooms are separated by walls. I entered the shower room next to the one Rosemary went into.
Before my eyes was a large mirror. Agaram had mirrors too, but they couldn’t be called high quality, even to be polite. However, the Empire’s mirror clearly reflected my form.
“…Seriously, I haven’t changed at all from five years ago.”
My gray hair, inherited from my father, has grown long enough to need tying up, but… my height is the same, and my facial features haven’t changed. Perhaps due to running around battlefields, I’m slender but have a bit of muscle.
“Hmm. Looking at myself properly like this, I’m quite the pretty boy, aren’t I?”
My facial features, inherited from my mother, are exceptionally refined. When I get older, I’ll probably be handsome enough to put pretty-boy idols to shame.
“With these looks, it might not be strange for Alkalion or Rosemary to fall for me.”
“My love for you, Boya, isn’t just because of your looks, you know.”
“Eh?”
I heard a voice, and when I turned around, Alkalion was somehow in the same shower room.
“Eh? W-Wait, let me say that again. Eh? Wh-Why are you—”
“Quietly. If you make a fuss, Rosemary will find us. Since we have this chance, I thought we could wash each other.”
“Ah, i-is that so?”
“Yes. Isn’t washing each other’s backs something people do in baths to become closer?”
I think I did say something like that when I asked them to build a bath. No, but, this situation is really…!!
“I won’t do anything improper. If you’d rather not, Boya, I’ll give up, but…”
Alkalion said this, still expressionless, yet somehow looking dejected. If she looks at me like that, there’s no way I can refuse.
“Actually, I insist!!”
This is so I don’t refuse Alkalion’s invitation and make her sad. It’s absolutely not because I was thinking I wanted a peerlessly beautiful, goddess-like woman to wash my back or anything of the sort. Definitely not. Not in the slightest.
I turned my back to Alkalion and decided to let her wash it. Alkalion took out some soap and began to lather it.
It was the next moment.
Munyu.
“Hoa!?”
Munyu munyu. Burun burun. Dotapun.
Something incredibly soft and smooth, which couldn’t possibly be a bath sponge, was rubbing against my back.
Th-This is…!!
I can’t see. With my back turned to Alkalion, I can’t identify what that soft thing is. However, I know. My male intuition tells me exactly what it is.
“U-U-Uhm, Alkalion-san?”
“Yes?”
“Uhm, it feels like something very soft is rubbing my back, but…”
“Are you curious as to what this is?”
There’s no way I wouldn’t be curious. However, I won’t know the correct answer until I turn around and look at Alkalion. I wonder, is this what they call Schrödinger’s cat?
“I’m very curious.”
“Then, please see for yourself.”
“—Yes!!”
Full of anticipation, I spun around vigorously. However, the instant I did, I was enveloped by something soft, and my vision went completely dark.
I immediately understood the cause. Because I’d turned around too forcefully, I had buried my face right into that soft thing. I could even faintly smell something sweet.
Just as I hurriedly tried to pull away—
“You’re quite the spoiled child, Boya.”
Saying that, Alkalion hugged me tightly.
I couldn’t see anything, but I could feel it. I instantly understood that I was now entrusting my body to Mother Earth.
“There, there. Good boy, good boy.”
Alkalion gently stroked my head, just like a mother soothing her child.
I almost want to cry out “Mama!!” and be pampered.
“…Hmm, I don’t mind.”
“Eh?”
“I am your wife, Boya, but I don’t mind becoming your mama as well. Feel free to be as spoiled as you like.”
I see, so my Goddess (Mama) was right here.
“Alkalion!! No, Mama!!”
“Yes, what is it?”
I clung to Alkalion and resolved to climb the stairway to adulthood. I’d mobilized all my reason to endure it until now, but I can’t take it anymore. From this moment on, I become a beast.
“I like you!! I love you!! Go out with me!! And then marry me!! And have lots of children with me!!”
“Yes, very well. From now on, I am your wife, and Boya’s mama. Be as spoiled as you wish.”
I showed Alkalion my beloved sword, which had broken its limits and become sharp.
“Oh my. Contrary to your cute appearance, this one is quite ferocious, isn’t it?”
“Hah, hah, Alkalion!!”
“Mama isn’t going anywhere. Now, come.”
Just as we were about to affirm our love in the small shower room, it happened.
“Reichel, you’re taking quite a while, did something… happ…en?”
“”Ah.””
My voice and Alkalion’s overlapped.
“Wh-Wh-Wha—”
“W-Wait, Rosemary. This is, uhm…”
“Rosemary, Mother is about to engage in some ‘mama play’ with Boya. Please go soak in the tub ahead of us.”
“W-Wait, Alkalion!?”
Alkalion calmly and honestly explained what she was about to do with me. Rosemary screamed.
“Haha-ue and Reichel, what in the world are you doooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing?!!!!”
At Rosemary’s scream, the shower room mirror shattered. The shower nozzle also seemed to malfunction, as hot water began to overflow. Wh-What was that just now?!
“Hmm, a Dragon Roar, is it? As expected of my daughter, who strongly inherits my blood. With her daily training, it seems she has awakened to a not insignificant portion of her draconic power.”
“Eh!? What are you so impressed about!?”
After that, Alkalion and I ended up getting lectured by Rosemary for about an hour. Then, the three of us finished a somewhat awkward bath.
Incidentally, both of their large breasts were splendidly floating in the hot water.
Since the shower had broken, when I offered to help repair it, Alkalion gave me the okay. Little did I imagine at that moment that yet another problem would arise there.
