Reincarnated as My Game Character – Chapter 13

Chapter 13: Is That Rude to Slugs?

“If only you had listened to me from the start, things wouldn’t have turned out like this. The fact you don’t even understand your own position truly shows you must be the scum of scum, doesn’t it? Your foolishness, like a concentration of all the worst parts of the Human race, almost makes me laugh.”

And so, Ms. Cécile still labors under the delusion that she holds the superior position. But from my perspective, knowing that her Subordination Magic rebounded and she herself has fallen into slavery, her appearance is simply too comical, and I almost burst out laughing.

However, I really want her to realize this herself, so I desperately hold back my laughter.

“Now, my little dung beetle slave. Hurry up and release these bindings.”

Ms. Cécile then orders me to Dispel the Magic binding her.

I walk towards Ms. Cécile with feigned calmness, moving with the kind of obedience expected of someone enslaved. But the obedience ends there. Naturally, I have no intention of Dispelling the Binding Magic; I simply look down at Ms. Cécile with eyes that might gaze upon trash.

“You! What is with that look?! Shall I teach you what happens when a slave defies the orders of their master?!”

Perhaps questioning why I wasn’t Dispelling the Binding Magic, she now shouts orders with renewed anger.

Unlike the first time, she probably set a penalty for this command should I disobey.

All without knowing that she’s the one who has actually fallen into slavery.

“Why would I have to listen to anything you say, Ms. Cécile? Are you an idiot?”

“Huh? Th-That’s… impossible! I certainly activated the Subordination Magic, and I made sure a penalty would activate if you ignored that last command… D-Don’t tell me the Magic of Subordination was reflected, just like the Binding Magic…? Th-That’s impossible!! Reflecting Magic is unheard of in the first place!!”

Finally, though her pride hinders her from readily accepting her current situation, it seems Ms. Cécile is slowly beginning to grasp it from the circumstances.

“Huh? Why is the Mark of Subordination appearing on my chest? W-Was the Magic of Subordination really reflected too?! No!! No way, no way, no way!!”

And as Ms. Cécile finally realizes the situation and flails about in panic, only my laughter echoes through the classroom.

“Finally figured it out? Took you long enough, don’t you think? Seriously. Still, I never thought Ms. Cécile, hailed as The Empire’s Witch, would turn out to be such a shitty little slug. No, wait, would that be rude to slugs?”
