Character Introductions, Simple Map
As there were requests, I’ve quickly put together a list of the main characters.
There are some minor spoilers in the process of introducing the characters.
Generally, only characters who have already appeared will be introduced, but since characters appearing tonight are also included, those concerned about spoilers might want to skip this.
The main story will continue to be updated daily at midnight (00:00 JST), so please look forward to it.
Oldam Hunter Maso Academy Students
Louis von Belfast
The eldest son of King Royce von Belfast of the fallen kingdom of Belfast.
Raised on the outskirts of the Oldam slums.
Yurishia von Rasbel
Second daughter of the Margrave Razbel family.
Possesses such rare talent in swordsmanship that she is hailed as a child prodigy.
Hiroki, Ami
Commoners from Oldam. Twin brother and sister.
Their parents were Hunters, but their father has passed away.
Raised in a single-mother household.
Naomi
Daughter of a merchant company affiliated with the Ispool family.
Dreams of becoming a chef and aims to be a Hunter as a stepping stone.
Akito
A resident of the slums, from a single-mother household.
His late father was a Hunter, but his mother is an ordinary person.
Aims to become a Hunter to help his family’s finances.
Riana Randall
Daughter of the Marquis Randall family.
By her father’s wishes, she enrolled in the school in Oldam where Owen-sensei serves as the homeroom teacher.
However, she herself is not particularly obsessed with strength.
Yukina
Riana’s attendant. Also a childhood friend, and their relationship is surprisingly relaxed.
Karl Ispool
Eldest son of the Viscount Ispool family.
His father is a man of character, but Karl grew up twisted as an elitist.
Julian Ristol
Fourth son of the Count Ristol family.
His entire family is steeped in elitist ideology, and he looks down on commoners.
Kyoko
An apprentice in the covert ops unit of the Margrave Razbel’s forces.
She’s a bit ditzy but kind and earnest.
Mizuki (The Magic Tool Girl)
Daughter of the Formal Magic Tool Shop.
She lost a leg while accompanying her father on a peddling trip, and since then, she has earnestly pursued the same path as her father to heal her leg.
She enrolled in the Hunter Maso Academy under the artisan quota and belongs to the Third Magic Tool Appreciation Society, where she can work relatively freely.
Kotaro (The Staff Guy)
Founder of the Third Magic Tool Appreciation Society.
He was kicked out of the First and Second societies for things like spending money while ignoring customer budgets.
He’s confident and has absolute faith in his skills regarding the creation of staves and amplifiers.
Ichiro (The Leather Guy)
A member of the Third Magic Tool Appreciation Society.
He is taciturn and has a calm demeanor, but inwardly possesses a voracious thirst for knowledge.
Lestall Forces
Roman Zell Lestall
King of Lestall.
He governs with stability and has the support of most nobles.
Will Zell Lestall
Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Lestall.
He possesses no particularly noteworthy skills but has a talent as a coordinator.
Riley Zell Lestall
The prince parasitized by a monster.
A young man who was called a genius in academics.
James McDowell
Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lestall, Duke.
A man who has earned the King’s deep trust in both name and reality, serving as his right-hand man.
While not corrupt enough to engage in illicit acts, he loves money and has a strong business acumen.
Fast Zell Randall
Marquis of the Kingdom of Lestall.
A man who protects Lestall’s public order, keeping such a close watch on his surroundings that he’s called the “Police of the West.”
He commands Lestall’s strongest army, and the Marquis himself possesses power that can be said to be among the highest in the country.
Viscount Borg Oldam
Lord of the Oldam territory in the Kingdom of Lestall.
Though inferior in strength to a Holy Knight, he is a resolute man who still goes to the front lines himself.
He is not brilliant, but for a military officer, he is not so foolish either.
A relatively sensible person.
Holy Knight Albert
The Commander of the Imperial Guard Knights, who was injured in a monster subjugation and lost an eye, but recovered thanks to an Elixir.
He is also a close aide to the King and is always stationed at the Royal Palace.
Holy Knight Owen, Baron
Serves as the homeroom teacher for Class 1-A at Oldam Maso Academy.
In the past, he formed a party with Hiroki and Ami’s parents. He is dating their mother, Sayuri-san.
One of the foremost powerhouses in the Kingdom of Lestall.
The third son of a knightly family, he left home to become a Hunter, but rose to the rank of Baron for his achievements in subjugating monster hordes and protecting towns and villages.
Kisaragi
A combat instructor serving as the homeroom teacher for Class 2-A at Oldam Maso Academy.
Sayuri
Hiroki and Ami’s mother, a former Hunter and Healing Magic user.
She has a young and beautiful appearance but is also stubborn and sometimes oblivious to the atmosphere.
Belfast Forces
Royce von Belfast
Louis’s father and the last king of Belfast before its annexation.
Passionate and charismatic, he was adored by his retainers.
Yuna von Fastall
Louis’s mother.
During the Belfast era, she was born as the eldest daughter of the Duke Fastall family.
Royce’s fiancée, she became pregnant with his child while unmarried.
She gave birth to Louis and went into hiding in Oldam, but lost her life to a disease called Magical Power Sclerosis just a few years later.
Cornelia von Belfast
The eldest daughter and Royce’s older sister.
She admired heroes and, in the process of tracing their paths through literature, was cast into the Abyss and lost her life.
Calm and thoughtful, but also possesses a maidenly side.
Yunon von Belfast
The second daughter and Royce’s older sister.
Like her older sister, she admired heroes and, in the process of tracing their paths through literature, was cast into the Abyss and lost her life.
Strong-willed and quick-tempered.
Chinatsu, Aoi, Saki
Cadets who became Hunters in Belfast and immediately entered service to the kingdom.
As young women of the same age as the princesses, excelling in both conduct and ability, they served as close attendants and guards to the princesses, but were cast into the Abyss together and lost their lives.
Randolph von Razbel
Margrave. Yurishia’s father. During the Belfast era, his family was the Razbel General family (a Ducal family).
He is an over-doting parent, known even in other territories, and can go wild when his family is involved.
One of the most powerful individuals within Lestall.
He is caring towards his own people and has some popularity.
Roosevelt
Knights Commander.
A man who, despite being the fifth son of a Baron family, climbed his way up to Knights Commander through his own efforts.
Possesses the greatest strength in the Razbel territory.
Rudolph (Uncle Rudolf)
Born as the third son of a knightly family, he grew rapidly in his teens and was seen as a promising future Knight, but by King Royce’s final order, he lived as a farmer while protecting Yuna and Louis with Mary.
Gentle and so earnest he’s almost naively straightforward, but he also has a clumsy side.
Mary (Aunt Mary)
Eldest daughter of a family that held the rank of Marquis during the Belfast era.
Rudolph’s wife and also Louis’s foster mother.

The lands of Lestall and Mildrad form a peninsula jutting out from the continent.
All place names shown on the Mildrad side (Lees, Gerard, Bent, Duct) are Duke Daltone’s territory.
This only includes the major cities that appear in recent stories, so it’s not exhaustive.
It was difficult to draw and post a map, so I apologize for this simplified version.
