Weak Skill Duplicator – Chapter 13

Among Rank C monsters, the Demon is said to be the most delicious.

Demons primarily appear at night, but they also commonly emerge during the day in graveyards and deep within ruins.

Their combat strength is among the highest of Rank C monsters, with almost all of their stats exceeding 4000, making them comparable to Rank B monsters if one is not careful.

However, Demons have a fatal weakness: their stats drop to one-fifth or less during the day.

Therefore, even a Rank D adventurer can defeat them in the daytime. Despite this, the reward is still that of a Rank C monster.

That’s why they’re popular.

Fighting Demons at night is something only the strong, who can withstand stats of 4000, would do.

Of course, I’ll be fighting them during the day…

I arrived at the graveyard. Some graveyards often have Demon spawns, so there are requests for their subjugation.

Or rather, they appear all the time.

Despite their low stats during the day, each one is worth one silver coin. That’s five times the reward for a Goblin.

The money I had saved up for equipment has dwindled, and most Mid-Rank Adventurers are currently focused on defending the town.

I’ll at least defeat as many Demons as I can within the town.

As I walked through the graveyard, I saw a Demon messing with a grave.

I tried hitting the Demon with my specialty, a thrown stone.

Demons have resistance to physical attacks, while magic is very effective against them.

However, this is to acquire a Skill, so it doesn’t matter if it’s not effective as long as it does damage.

…Or so I thought, but,

“Huh? Did I defeat it?”
