Weak Skill Duplicator – Chapter 38

Having arrived in the Royal Capital, we decided to explore the city a bit. Our audience with the King was scheduled for 3 PM today, and we still had about six hours to spare.

“Hey, Paulo, there’s a place I’d like to see…”

“What a coincidence. There’s a place I want to go to as well.”

“I was thinking of checking out Eldina Academy… What about you, Paulo?”

“I’m going to the church. I wanted to see the Grand Cathedral of the Royal Capital.”

“I see, then let’s split up and do our own thing for now…”

“Understood.”

And so, we went our separate ways.

“Wow, this school building is huge up close.”

Having arrived at Eldina Academy, I immediately started peeking inside.

The school building was larger than the Guild in town, and it seemed to have dormitories as well.

Inside, students were in class, using C-Rank magic in the schoolyard to destroy targets. As I was watching intently,

“Hey, what are you doing there?”

A voice came from behind me.

“Ah, sorry. I was just looking because I was thinking about joining this academy.”

“Hmm. Well, it’s fine, but what’s your Skill Aptitude?”

A black-haired shorty spoke to me familiarly. Who the heck are you…?

“Um… it’s G… but…”

“Whoa! Seriously? There really are people with G. I heard they updated the lowest Skill Aptitude value before, so it was you. I just met a celebrity.”

“Haa… That’s great for you.”

“I’m going to enter this school next year… but you with a Skill Aptitude of G should probably give up. After all, this school is a gathering of people with at least C Skill Aptitude. Well, I’m B, though.”

I was about to pull out each strand of hair from the black-haired shorty who was subtly bragging when,

“But, I heard there’s an amazing guy even one year below us, they say he defeated the Four Heavenly Kings. If you’re a man, you gotta do at least that much.”

That’s me. Suddenly praising me.

“I’m going to take the exam the year after next.”

“Oh, so you’re younger? Well, do your best with your useless efforts until the entrance exam.”

Seriously, everyone is so hung up on Skill Aptitude.

I was annoyed and brushed him off…

“How was Eldina Academy?”

“Yeah. I got tangled up with some weirdo, but it was interesting. How about you?”

“The Grand Cathedral of the Royal Capital was huge, as expected. And it was decorated with jewels here and there, and the stained glass was so luxurious. But the best part was…”

“Excuse me. It’s time, so please come to the castle once you’re ready.”

Oh, it seems like it’s time.
We stopped talking and headed to the castle.

By the way, we properly visited Ganjis’s grave with Saga, Enema, and Ganjis’s younger sister, making it five of us.
He lost his parents at a young age and became an adventurer to feed his younger sister. However, after inviting a party member he had teamed up with to his house, he was deceived, his sister was kidnapped, and all his money was stolen. Ganjis worked desperately to earn money to buy back his sister, who had been sold off, but in the end, he couldn’t earn enough money to buy her back. It was Saga who opened his heart, which had been in despair for a while. Actually, Saga is a noble, and after hearing about Ganjis’s situation, Saga bought her back. However, his sister offered to be of service to Saga since she was bought with money. Saga decided to hire his sister as a maid at his family’s mansion.
The treatment was good, and Saga gave her a decent salary and a room for maids. Ganjis was very grateful to Saga.
In this way, both Ganjis and his sister gained stable lives and became happy.
He hesitated to form a party for a while, but after teaming up with Cain and the others and drinking together at the tavern, he started to form parties more often.
The reason he teamed up with Cain and the others in the first place was because Saga was in the party.
