Weak Skill Duplicator – Chapter 8

About a month had passed.

Since then, I’ve been going to the forest for Goblin Hunting almost every day. Recently, I’ve been able to hunt about 50 Goblins a day. After finishing my hunt, I returned to the Guild and headed to the reception desk as usual.

“…Yes! This completes the request. If you keep going at this pace, you’ll be able to advance to Rank D in a few days.”

“That’s fast. Is Goblin Hunting an easy way to rank up?”

“Well, up to Rank D, you can rank up quickly by completing several similar requests. However, from Rank C onwards, you won’t rank up easily just by completing the same requests repeatedly.”

As an aside, those below Rank E are considered low-rank adventurers. From Rank D, you’re considered a Mid-Rank Adventurer, and from Rank B, you’re treated as a High-Rank Adventurer. However, there are currently no Rank S adventurers, so the de facto top rank is A. Rank B is just below that, so it’s certainly close to the top.

And, to be recognized as Rank S, you can’t just complete requests. You need to defeat a Demon Lord or someone of similar caliber. But, a Demon Lord hasn’t appeared in about 400 years. The Hero is an existence that opposes the Demon Lord, so when someone with the Original Skill “Hero” appears, it means the next Demon Lord has appeared. There is no Hero in this world right now. Therefore, at least for a while, a Demon Lord won’t appear. And thus, neither will a Rank S adventurer…

“Ah! By the way, Cain-san, did you hear? Apparently, a girl with the ‘Hero’ Skill has appeared in the neighboring Garumanda Kingdom!”

A Rank S adventurer might appear…
