Wounded Paladin – Chapter 237

Chapter 45: Instruction Manual vol.9.0① ver.1.01

☆Pulmy En Dynast☆
Her full name is Pulmy En Dynast Phil Altoralb Ixiss.
It’s a bit long.
Upon hearing this name, most elves will back down.

Though there is no blood relation, she is Angelica’s mother.

Despite her beauty leading many to perceive her as cold, calculating, and ruthless, she intentionally carries herself this way as a leader, but at her core, she is a genuinely good person.
She is also one of the most hard-working characters in the story.

Before the battle against the Three-Headed Dragon, she, in a fit of rage, decided to have a talk with the young and noble individuals who couldn’t grasp the dire situation.
As a result, they all became her friends, finding supreme happiness in being scolded or praised by her.

As explicitly stated in the story, had Ichiro and the others not arrived in time for the battle against the Three-Headed Dragon, the situation and location would have been uncertain, but she would have undoubtedly lost her life.

In addition to the full armor attacks she showcased during the battle, she is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, enveloping her limbs in azure flames.

Now that the matter of the Sealed Labyrinth has been settled, she is determined to tidy up the aftermath, tackle the mountain of accumulated work, and once she has stepped down as the Guild Master of the Green Eyes, she plans to take Ichiro and Angelica back to her hometown. She feels giddy with excitement.

☆Demon Sword Nidhogg☆
A magical sword that can transform into any weapon.
It consumes a vast amount of Mana.
In particular, the “Multi-Mana Conversion Bow Form” is activated by depleting both the stored Mana within the sword and the user’s entire Mana. In this form, the sword consumes Mana from everyone involved—its wielder, enemies, and even materials like barriers that stand in its way, literally devouring them.

The “Multi-Mana Conversion Bow Form” is annotated as “Multi-Mana Conversion (Gluttony) Bow Form (Gileard).”

During the battle with the Three-Headed Dragon, it was used as a massive bow (the Sky) for the finishing blow, but in the plotting stage, it was originally envisioned as a cool, large rifle or some kind of gun-like weapon, which was changed due to various circumstances. However, she hopes to showcase it somewhere.

☆Artificial Demon Sword Imitation Gold☆
A remarkable piece of craftsmanship. It was created by a certain individual and given to Pulmy by that person. While not on par with the Demon Sword Nidhogg, it boasts a significant amount of Mana storage. It is not something that should be treated as disposable. Pulmy equipped four of them, using three for a Mana explosion through instant release of stored Mana.

☆World Tree Staff (Yggdrasil Twig)☆
A top-level staff. Details are unknown.

☆Exodus Armor☆
The finest armor in Pulmy’s collection.
However, it has been custom-made specifically for her.

☆Amplifier☆
A ring-shaped item.
It enhances Mana, stamina, and all abilities.
Pulmy used it at full power, causing it to vanish in a single use.

☆Activation☆
The phrase used to activate the Amplifier. It also refers to the state of activation itself.

☆Double Activation☆
A double application of Activation. The recoil on the user is extremely high.

☆Funeral Mines☆
A magic that Pulmy favors. It creates countless blue fireballs that she can manipulate freely. While it can incinerate typical weak enemies, its effectiveness was diminished against the Three-Headed Dragon, which had a powerful Mana resistance. Nevertheless, it proved useful for stalling the dragon and countering earth magic.

☆Hellgate☆
A gate of crimson flames. Pulmy summoned it as a defensive barrier.
Even Pulmy, one of the most powerful characters in the story, could only summon it by exhausting the Amplifier. It is a replica of the original Hellgate, which is said to exist somewhere.

☆Hades Gate☆
A gate of azure flames. This was also summoned by Pulmy as a defensive barrier. It is a replica of the original Hades Gate.
Even as a replica, it was the first time in the history of magic in this world that both gates were breached simultaneously.

☆Chancellor Madison☆
A prominent figure in the Arcana Kingdom.
He is an old acquaintance of the Arcana King and a comrade on the battlefield of politics, but their differing views on heroes have created a rift between them.
He was the leading figure of the faction that sought to tackle the Newly Constructed Ultimate Labyrinth without relying on summoning.

Upon the summoning, he was moved to tears by the sight of the earnest and reckless Hero (Holy Knight). In fact, he was deeply invested in him, fantasizing about marrying one of his two beloved daughters to him, forming a family bond.

During the Hero Party’s departure, he was furious with Princess Puffy, but was mysteriously forced into a celebratory mood… However, the countless foolish actions of the heroes that followed, along with the approval of Princess Puffy and the Arcana King, have reignited his volcanic anger…

☆Nelly Virtuous☆
One of the three Holy Knights of the Arcana Kingdom.
She has had little screen time or depiction in the story.
With sun-kissed skin and a stylishly short haircut, she is a beautiful woman in her mid-twenties.
Though she has a very cool appearance, she is not as strong-willed as she seems and has been crying in bed since the incident with the Sealed Labyrinth.

“How did it come to this…?”

When she received the report about the Three-Headed Dragon and headed to the battlefield, she was struck by shock and suffered from severe anemia but managed to endure and rush there.
She has a strong sense of responsibility and is well-regarded for her abilities.
Like Ichiro and Ashley, she has low Luck and is a victim of the current situation.

☆Skruld☆
A relatively large town near the Royal Capital and Green Eyes. It became the base of operations for the Virtuous Front.

☆Ambish☆
A prominent family of magic nobility.
They are difficult to deal with due to their intense aristocratic and pure-blood beliefs, as well as their elitist mindset.

☆Klein Ambish☆
A prodigy and genius of the Ambish family.
He is fearless, even placing his shoes on the table in front of Pulmy, who has been holding back.
He nearly faced dire consequences as a warning from Pulmy, who has reached enlightenment in many ways. It’s a good thing he reformed.

☆Shizuku☆
Her full name is Shizuku Tetra Aqua.
She is the daughter of the famous magic nobility family, Tetra Aqua.
While she is capable, she is also arrogant, as is typical of her kind.
She has a tendency to be a bit of a daddy’s girl.
Initially, she clashed with Pulmy, but now she reverently calls her “Onee-sama.”
She trembles with joy when Pulmy scolds or praises her.

☆Russell☆
His full name is Russell Eisenstein.
In Ichiro’s nightmare, he was one of the members who turned to dust along with Klein and Shizuku after being struck by a four-headed dragon.
Of course, he holds Pulmy in deep admiration.
For him, the words of praise he receives from her are the sweetest nectar.

☆”Hi! We must remove the rotten oranges!”☆
This is said to be a phrase from a certain famous teacher residing in Japan.
The “rotten oranges” here refer to the dangerous elements in the Virtuous Front, led by Klein and others.
Had Ichiro not been there, they would have all vanished without a trace.

☆A Certain Charm☆
A charm that Ichiro gave to Pulmy out of concern for her.
Inside the pouch is the ultra-super-rare item, the Resurrection Orb (one use remaining).

☆Heartfelt Friends☆
In her desperate state, Pulmy spared no effort to increase her circle of heartfelt friends.

☆Sparkling Eyes☆
Klein’s twinkling eyes directed at Pulmy, his heartfelt friend.
They shine brightly.

☆Rebellion☆
☆Eden’s Garden☆
Both are famous clans or parties.
Though not depicted in the story, they fought valiantly.
They are a team that values gratitude and obligation, leaning towards goodness.

☆Qi☆
A power utilized by Sena and Sensei, drawn from the external world.
Other details are unknown.

☆Divine Qi☆
Ichiro has finally learned to use it.
However, due to his inexperience, he cannot wield it freely…
Details are unknown.

☆Light Dagger (Revol Edge)☆
A technique that involves piercing the opponent with a dagger imbued with light magic, then unleashing the concentrated light magic within their body all at once.
After the technique, the user turns their back to the opponent and strikes a cool pose.

☆Bullet of Light☆
Technique Developed in the Battle Against Ainika, the One Who Loathes All Life

This technique resembles a gun, firing orbs of light from the barrel formed by my right index finger. While it shares similarities with Rain in terms of long-range attacks, it allows for easier adjustment of the Mana infused in each shot and makes it simpler to aim at the target. The shot infused with the maximum amount of light Mana is called the Full Bullet.

Fan of Light
This technique was also developed during the battle against Ainika, the One Who Loathes All Life.
It resembles a saber shaped like a fan. It allows for wide-range attacks at close distances, effortlessly obliterating the nimble Ainika with a single swing.

Yamada Driver
A technique that involves throwing the opponent into the air and slamming their head into the ground with a piledriver.

Provocation Yamada Kick
This technique involves tossing the opponent into the air so that they fall headfirst. At the moment their head is buried in the ground and completely immobilized, I deliver a powerful kick to their torso.

Revolving Lotus
A technique that twists the neck with a swift motion.

“Help me!”
